Cards as promised

Here are the pictures of the cards I promised yesterday. The first is for my Brother and is stamped and coloured with promarkers. I must admit I used to be a watercolour girl but since these pens came out I can't leave them alone. They are so easy to use, just love them wish I had every colour.
The second card I have made for my Daughters boyfriend who bikes all the time and all over the world. It's not his birthday until the middle of March but thought I'd best get in front . He just lives for his bikes so hopefully will like this easel card. It's my hubby's birthday in March as well just have to think what to make for him. Must admit thats a hard one.

Sorry not much activatity at all this week. I started with a cold and cough last Friday and have spent most of my time in bed. I did drag myself to the doctors on Monday, what a waste of time that turned out to be. Because of my chemo they would not give me anything not even a cough bottle. They said go to the chemist and get something without any drugs in it, I ask you.
I have felt a tiny bit better today and have made a couple of cards whilst sat in bed. Will try to get on the computer again tomorrow to get some pics done. Off to try and get some sleep now and hope I'm not coughing all night like last night. I realy need to shake this cold off as my next chemo is Wednesday the 1st.

I've managed to play again a little bit. It's very hard when you can't get into your craftroom. With my son living in there all the time, I only have a small amount of stuff stashed in my dining room so I am only getting to use that at the moment. I am enjoying myself though when I can feel up to it. I have made three very different cards, a very quick one using a reduced vintage feel card and sticker set that as loads of pieces in it. Then another using the lovely Indigo blue stamp and another using a Lili of the valley image.
Thanks for all your lovely comments on my last cards and for thinking about me, they are much appreciated. I have seen most your beautiful cards but sorry just don't have the energy to leave you all comments at the moment.
I have spent the day colouring another image in with promarkers so hopefully will get to make another card with it soon. Happy crafting hope you are all well. Love and Hugs xChrisB

Sorry not been around

Hi sorry not been around this week. I wasn't feeling to hot Monday and Tuesday very tired. Yesterday I had my 3rd chemo session and it took five attempts for them to get my canular in. But they managed in the end thank god. I was also home in record time for about 2 oclock so turned out to be a good day in the end. I even got to finish some cards. Hope you like them. The first one which is Grey ,Red and white I have entered for a challenge on Going Buggy it's Enfys first challenge. The second one I have used a Debbie Moore cd and one of the Glitter girls boards that was a present.The Warren card was one of the pictures that I won before Christmas from Kath's Blog. He was coloured with Pro markers .I cut an aperature in the card and a scalloped frame with spellbinders then just added some grass.
I have also been playing with some small bamboo dominoes. I will post some pictures as soon as I have finished them.
Sorry I have not been able to catch up with all your blogs lately. I have not been sleeping so the doctor as given me some sleeping tablets for 5 days to try and get my sleep pattern of track and I'm trying to go a bit earlier as well. I'ts hard as I only get into my craft room at 10 oclock when my son gets up to go to work. Hopeful will get to visit soon. I saw a little birdie

Here is my card I saw a little birdie and fell in love with this image. I think he's so cute with his little bobble hat. I have printed it off a Cd called Twelve cards of Christmas by Ella design. There are lovely designs on it and quite a few can be used throughout the year not just Christmas. I coloured it with promarkers, the BP was a craftwork cards free out of a magazine. I punched the snowflakes and coloured with promarkers and added some crystal gems.

I have also made a couple of cards this afternoon, one using an old kit I got from QVC years ago. I used a Lili of the valley sentiment stamp. For the other one I stamped and coloured a Lili of the Valley image and a Sentiment stamp and used my nestabilities and a punch for the whirls. I had thought of watching Tv today but couldn't find a single thing I wanted to watch. So just made a mess with craft stuff spread everywhere all over my dining room table and my lounge floor. Hi folks back from hospital had my second chemo eventually. Had another problem day. Transport got me there for 10.15. Then at 11 when my chemo was due to start they said they needed to re take my bloods as ther e was problem. My liver function test had not been done and my white cells were down. At 2 o'clock they then called me into the office to tell me my bloods had come back and they were ok. There was another problem the machine that makes my chemo had broke and they didn't know if they could fix it. They wanted me to go back next week. The nurse was very good and stuck to her guns and said I couldn't go back next week and that I need ed it doing. They told me it would be an hour before they knew whether the machine could be fixed. Then anothe hour to flush it out and mix my chemo drugs. Did I want to go home and go back tomorrow. I said no I would stick it out to see if it could be fixed. I eventually started my chemo at 4.30. Tranport was to pick me up at 5. It came at 6.15 so got back at 6.30.

As i type this fingers crossed I feel ok at the moment. I have to have a booster injection for the next 5 days. Last time I just had one big one. They have changed it to 5 smaller amounts had I had terrible chest pains with that and this hopefully will be a little better.

I have posted this card before but just posted it again to wish you all a very Jolly Christmas and a very Healthy and Happy New year. I have realy appreciated all your lovely comments and visits to my blog and I wanted to say a Very Big Thank You to all of you my blogging Buddies. I hope to see you all soon. Flower delights

Hi everyone I have had a lovely weekend. Had Maddison for tea on Friday after nursery, she was good but kept shouting alot. Then we had her visit all afternoon on Saturday as Daddy needed to do some Christmas shopping. We had a lovely time watching Angelina Ballerina. Also dressing up as Cinderella I also had to dress up as the queen and Grandad as the Prince. Then we had to have the loud music on and a stripteeze session as she wanted her Sparkly dancing skirt and her top on. We also spent about an hour while I was Father Christmas saying Ho Ho Ho to every doll while they came an visited. Maddison was a Sparkly Ballerina Elf going to look for the presents while I had to pretend to wrap them up so she could give them to the toys. We had a lovely day and lots and lots of fun but where both shattered by the time she went home after eating her tea.

I have managed to do some more crafting and had a lovely time with my distressing inks and some new decoupage. I have made some flower delights. Sorry about last photo took it wonky.

Red, white and Blue.

Here's the picture I promised. I stamped the image and coloured with Pro markers. The backing papers were from the magazine Homemade a little while back. The flowers were made with a Marianne die and a Spellbinders snowflake set die, curled and a button on top. Also used a Martha Stewart punch.

I have had a lovely day to day as Maddison as been around for a few hours, the first time I have seen her for a couple of weeks. Boy had nearly forgotton what a whirlwind she can be. She is growing up so quick. We played at babies and had to have all the musical Christmas Decorations all singing at once. While she ran about all excited and laughing. We had a lovely time.

Hi every one sorry not been around this week. I have been on a few blogs but have no cards to show you yet. I have been crafting of sorts. Coloured a couple of images in the other day. I have a card drying downstairs as I type this. I have also been making a complete list of all my crafting cd.s and putting them all in order in my folders. Took me ages.
I have finished all my Christmas cards and posted them all out, also finished and wrapped all my Christmas presents. I was at the hospital on Wednesday for a blood test and I don't go again now until the 21st December for my second session of Chemo. My wig is all sorted and I'm having my hair cut very short this weekend as it's due to start coming out any time now or at least the next couple of days.

Started my treatment.

I went to the hospital yesterday after no transport came, they had cancelled it and never told anyone. The hospital sent a taxi for me when they realised I hadn't turned up. The doctor decided that even though my breast is still quite pink and my 3rd packet of antibiotics finish tomorrow, he was going ahead with the chemo. I was very nervous as they keep having problems with my veins collapsing. She had trouble at first but finally managed it ok. I don't like needles at all.
I felt very rough in bed last night and had a blinding head all night. I also had sweats and sneezing all night and all day today. So I've been keeping a close watch on my temperature. Dave also had to give me an injection in my stomach today. That was a booster for my immune system that also gave me a slight headache. I stayed in bed all day and watched C&C and tryed to drink more than I usually do that was quite a struggle. Off to bed in a minute to take all my medication, hoping for a better night fingers crossed.
Hoping I feel a bit better tomorrow so I can craft a bit. Hugs to you all x ChrisB

cards at last

Hi although I've not been on the computer much this week. I have been doing a bit of crafting and managed to make some cards at last.

The first card is a new stamp by Debbie Moore aand I have made a card for my friend who loves Angels. It's her birthday soon. I have used Distress inks, gold spray, promarkers and glaze pen.

I've also made another few cards for my friends Christmas card box, they were made using a set that my best friend gave me .They included rub ons, cards, embellishments. I just made quick cards.

The last few are Christmas cards to write and send off.
I am off to the hospital again, I rang them to tell them I still have my infection. They still want me to go and said they might start my chemo. There is a strike on tomorrow so don't know how long it will take them to pick me up and as for getting home I dread to think after all the time I waited last week.

A no go

Hi after spending 3 hours at the hospital they decided it was a no go with my chemo. I saw the doctor yesterday at the hospital and he said my infection was healing up slowly and he was happy about it. But today they said I couldn't go ahead because of the infection or I could end up worse off. I then had to spend another half hour back in the breast unit, to see the doctor from yesterday again for more antibiotics. Then I waited another 3 hours for transport back home. What a day.
One good thing about it I have managed to write all my cards just have to pay for all the postage now. Dread to think how much that will cost.
Another good thing my new washer is coming tomorrow I will finally be able to catch up with all my washing.
I hope you have all started your Christmas cards. This is the first year I have been organised so early. It was a good job as things have turned out. Happy crafting Hugs x ChrisB

Just catching up

Just been catching up with the blogs I've missed this week. Some gorgeous cards out there. I have managed to make a few more cards to add to my friends box of about 45 for her Christmas box. Have been trying to make some more cards suitable for men. The one enjoyed making the most was the seascape one. First time I have used those stamps and I think it came out quite well. Only thing I think is wrong is the clouds.
I have also managed to wrap all my Christmas presents bar two. Going to start on writing my Christmas cards when I get back from hospital tomorrow.

I have been a bit upset this week my washing machine as broke and is beyond repair. Just when I could do without any more hiccups.Start chemo on Wednesday I will just be glad when I see the back of this year. Happy crafting have a good week. Hugs x ChrisB

Snowman and a card.

Well I have finally got to take a photo of my snowman I made He as a can of men deodorant in the middle for my son. I've got him some more toiletries but not decided hopw to pack them yet.

I've been playing about with some new Urban butterfly papermania stamps. I've used Rock candy, Dusty Concord and Tattered Rose and a green one sorry forgot the name of it. It's a birthday card for a friend.
I've been at the hosptal again as my infection as seemed to spread allover and under my arm. My surgeon wasn't too worried but tryed to get some fluid out and didn't manage it after three attempts. So I have to return again tomorrow for a ultrasound. I've been taking the antibiotics for 4 days now and I thought I might have seen a slight improvement, but to me it looks 10 times worse and is bright red. I'm just praying for some improvement as next week I'm at Christies in Manchester for a heart test then back at Bolton on Tuesday for blood tests then I'm supposed to start my Chemo Wednesday.
Hopefully I might get a bit of crafting done later in the week fingers crossed. Hope you are all doing fine out there and having fun with your crafting. Hope to see you soon. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi folks better late than never, I thought I wasn't going to make it back to you all this week.
What a week, I have been back to the hospital again 3 times. I now have an infection in my breast and had to take antibotics, they gave me some yesterday on my visit. Took them and then some more first thing this morning. Found out at 10am this morning I was covered in a rash. Rang the hospital and had to go back this afternoon. It has filled up again but they don't want to put another needle into it or I could get an abcess. I'm back to the same situation I've been in for the last 3 weekends , just a load of pain again I saw my surgeon this morning and he couldn't understand why I was having so much pain. But he did agree to stronger pain killers, so fingers crossed they work better.
I have done a bit of crafting I have made a snowman and a card. Will try and take a photo and post them over the weekend if I can get into my craftroom.

One lot finished.

Hi have actually managed to get one lot of presents finished for my lovely daughter, just a few stocking fillers really. I wanted to make them look nice so decided to make some boxes and decorate them. I used Centura pearl A3 card and used Spellbinders dies, my friends punch for the borders, gold card and glitter. My first box was 11 and half inches , the next 10 and a half and the top one 9 and half inches square. The bottom is socks, the second in toiletries and tealights and the top one is two sorts of different chocolates.
She's not girlie, girlie at all. I usually give her the money to buy herself something, she's really hard to buy for she doesn't like a lot of possesions as she is for ever moving about with her job and she's only in size 6 clothing and tends to buy boys clothing for age 9 year olds and size 2 trainers as she is so tiny. You wouldn't believe she's 33years old if you saw her. She still gets ask for ID all the time.

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments. I had a very busy this week at the hospital 5 days out of seven. Inspite of having my breast drained twice this week, Monday and Thursday the dammed thing as filled up again and I am in the same predicament as last week, department shut until Monday . Inspite of being in alot of discomfort I am definatently not going through the same perfomance today. I am definately staying put at home. I had my Body scan and my Bone scan and have to wait for the results now. I also have to go to Christies for a heart test but not got a date for that yet. I start my Chemo on the 23rd November. I have an appointment for tomorrow morning and the way this keeps filling up I bet I'm back again later in the week. I wish the thing would dry up, it's so fustrating .

I have managed to do a bit of crafting. I have made some square boxes and filled them with stocking fillers for my Daughter. I just have to finish decorating them then I will show you. I have also made a couple of little cards to go with some I made a couple of months ago.

Bugger of a weekend

What a bugger of a weekend I had. I was surpossed to be going to a craft show for a couple of hours. Unfortunately it didn't happen. I was in pain with alot of fluid build up. I spent eight and half hours in hospital waiting for a no show Doctor. I was told he might not be qualified to treat you when he turns up. I could n't even get any painkillers. The breast unit only works 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday so if your ill outside of that just forget it because there is no help at all. I finally had the fluid removed at 10am Monday morning.
I am at the hospital everyday this week I am having more pain at the moment than when I had my operation. I am so sore and struggling to do my exercises, they have told me that I might fill up again with fluid for 6 or 7 times.
I hope not, this is really dragging me down at the moment. I am trying to keep postative for the scans and hoping that they go well. Might not see you much for the rest of the week. Take care have fun Hugs x ChrisB

A card at last.

Sorry only just managing to post my card. I made it over a few days last week. The image is a download can't remember where from sorry. I've just noticed I took the photo before glittering all the pink ruffles on her skirt. Looks better glittered. The backing paper where free from a magazine . I used a couple of punches and my spellbinders dies, also one of those lovely zipper flowers.
I have had a relaxing day today my daughter came down from Dundee late last night until 5 o'clock to day. We just chatted and had a little walk in the sunshine. She's in Manchester tonight and tomorrow then back up to Dundee. She's flying off the Vietnam in a couple of weeks until the end of November. She's cyling across Vietnam for 3 weeks and into Thailand.
I have also been decluttering again as Helen keeps telling us we have to much clutter. God help what she will say when she goes into my craft room. She's doesn't buy many things as she as always been moving about since she left school. Studying to be a Doctor then a Forensic Pathologist.
I did have a clear out of some stuff before my Son came home, But now we don't have any room at all. What with his stuff and all Maddisons toys and clothes we are bulging at the seams. You can't tell I got rid of stuff. Now I just have to work on my Hubby as he's 10 times worse than me.

Don't think I'll be around much at all next week. I am at the hospital Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Have fun crafting Hugs x ChrisB

Thanks everyone for your lovely messages. The news today wasn't as good as I was hoping for. First of all they found 4 lumps not three and took out 21 lymph glands and in 20 they found cancer. They have managed to get a clear margin around it all, so that was good. The cancer can be treated but I need a full bone scan and a full body scan to see if it as spread anywhere else. So I am just praying that it hasn't. I have three apointments at the hospital next week and still waiting to hear about another one. I have not had time to take a photo of my card yet. Hi everyone, sorry not been around I couldn't get in my craft room. I have been busy having a clear out. Hubby helped me to sort out clothes that I have been hoarding and other junk out of my bedroom. Yesterday we moved a treadle sewing machine and Tv into the craft room as I need a new radiator in my bedroom and it was in the way. Threw out another pile of junk.Yesterday I also did a bit of Christmas shopping for stocking fillers. Just have a load of things to make now.
I have done a little crafting and made a card but will post it later.

Hi folks, had my drain out yesterday and feeling a bit uncomfortable , hence the early morning. Mind you this is the best time to be up, as Lee is still at work. That means I can get into my craftroom, otherwise it's 9.30 in the evening. This could be start of something new up at 4.30, watch this space.

I had a couple of visiters yesterday afternoon so had a good natter. Watched Sue on C&C for a short time.Then I got bored so managed to finish a couple of Christmas cards I had started the day before. I'm working with just very basic craft stuff downstairs, so just colouring and sticking. But quite pleased with what I made. Have a good day. Off to have a mooch around a few blogs. Hugs x ChrisB

Back Home.

I had my operation first thing Thursday morning, they hadn't even finished filling my notes in and I was being wheeled down to theatre. I was glad I was first on the list. I was back up on the ward at 12pm sat up. I had a good nights sleep and they decided that I could come home Friday afternoon. I have a drain in and the District nurse is coming in each day to check it. It has to come out on Tuesday if not before. I am feeling ok, a little tired this afternoon and dozed off watching create and craft. Managed a bath to night so feel alot better. Just finding it hard to sit still, but can't set my mind to anything. I go back a week on Wednesday to the hospital to hear the verdict and about my treatment.

Hi everyone , sorry I have not managed to make a card this week. I finished work on Monday, today I have spent nearly all day on the phone trying to get hold of people to send me forms. To try and find out if we will be entitled to any benifits or help at all, as no one will be working . Trying to sort things out is just a nightmare.All I keep getting is a big fat no, or we'll send you some forms but it will take about 4 to 5 weeks.
I don't think I will manage a post tomorrow as I will have to be in bed early, not that I think I will sleep.
Have to be up for 5am Thursday morning to ring in at 6am to see if there is a bed for me. I have to be on the ward for 7.30. I don't know what time I am scheduled to go down to theatre.

Hi folks , just getting ready for work but thought I would fill you in with my news. The hospital phoned yesterday with a date for my mastectomy. Its Thursday 13th October, all I could think was thank God it's not Friday the 13th. I'm off to the doctors today for a flue jab, after a load of hassle trying to get one at such short notice. I'm still waiting to hear when I have to go for my Pre op.

Bah humbug - Nativity

Well it's seemed a very long week. Not much in the way of crafting I'm afraid. Just couldn't keep my mind on one thing. The hospital rang on Thursday while I was at work and said they were ringing Friday with an update. I was on edge allday, then they never rang. I have managed to throw a card together for Bah humbug challenge which this week is Nativity. Sorry the photo isn't very good.Sorry but can't be bothered to fiddle any more. Hi folks, you know who you are out there. I want to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart for your lovely postive thought and prayers to get me through today. I had my results today after a very long wait. I have two different cancers going on in my breast. I am now waiting for my appointment to go in which could be as soon as two weeks but no longer than 3 weeks, they said. I will be having a mastecomy and my lymph glands out. I will then need chemotherapy and also radiotherapy, as I have a 6cm lump near my chest wall. They are saying I will be off work for at least 6 months.
I am going back to work tomorrow. I will try and post a card soon. Thank you again. Happy crafting Hugs x ChrisB

Hi folks, decided that today I would keep occupied as much as I can. I have done the washing and been shopping, also cleaned all the fridge out. Hi a big thank you to everyone who as left me a message for me this week. It is much appreciated . Crafters are the most caring, sharing people. I have had a tough week, but I'm trying to keep positive for my visit to hospital again on Monday. I managed to do a bit of crafting yesterday. It definately is a good therapy and keeps your mind occupied. I have printed Maddisons beautiful photo off and decorated it up with fairies and butterflies. I t is now hung on my wall and she as named all the fairies.

Bah humbug -swirls and flourishes

Hi everyone this is a hard post for me today. It as been my birthday today, but yesterday I was at the hospital having 6 Biopsys taken on my right breast. I have two lumps and a lump in my lymph glands. I have to go back next Monday to hear what cancer it is and what stage it is at and what my chances are. To know that you are thinking of me would be a great support.

I can't believe it's Wednesday again so soon. This week at Bah Humbug the challenge is for paper weaving. I've never done this before. But will try it again I think. Haven't been able to do any stamping so I used a freebie set. My Minds eye papers and chipboards free from a magazine. Not totally happy with this card, but not got time to make another. Bah humbug-xmas sentiments

Hi folks back again for my second post of the evening. I decided I'd better have a play and do my card for this weeks challenge at Bah Humbug. It is Xmas sentiments/text. I have used a Clarity stamp that I have had years and only used once or twice before. My Image stamp is a Docraft stamp from a few years ago . I embossed a star around the image and used a quickie glue pen and added some glitter. It doesn't show up properly on my photo. Also my text is straight, it is just the wonky angle I took my photo. I also added a white ribbon and bow to complete the card.

Hi, I'm a bit under the weather at the moment with a bad cough. I went to the Manchester Show on Saturday with 4 friends, this year it was at Event City next to the Trafford Centre. I bet they were sick of me I coughed all day long. I surpose I shouldn't have gone, but I had paid for my coach and ticket and didn't want to waste the money. I got a few things including some tree stencils which were really lovely. I also got a few stamps and some white scalloped cards.

The card I'm showing was made for a neighbour for her great Grandson, he's 7 next week. He's Mad on Bolton Wanders Football team he was even Christened in their strip as a baby. I have borrowed a stamp from my friend by Katy Sue Designs. I'm hoping he likes it I was quite pleased with how it turned out. Although my OH said "why have you put a number three on it.?"

Bah Humbug - One for the girls

Hi took Maddi bowling yesterday, she really enjoyed it and so did we. The first time we had been for years. I got laughed at by a three and a half year old. She won me ,she scored 109, and I only scored 96. Hubby scored 140. She said that she and Grandad were the champions and kept giggling and saying "Nanna you were last". She's a right good sense of humour for her age. Even the lady on the next lane had to laugh. We also had a visit to the Petshop and Lunch out.

Today I have managed to make my card for the Bah Humbug challenge which this week is one for the girls.

Another Inky card

Hi folks another miserable day here in the North West, I have a card to show you that I made with yesterdays card. Using the same colours and same techneque, but different stamps and die. I couldn't get in to my craftroom today as my son was asleep in it. After washing and ironing, I spent the rest of the day knitting and watching old John Wayne films on TV. Lovely peaceful day, used to love watching him with my Mum when she was alive. She absolutely loved Westerns and especially if he was in them. Brought back lots of happy memories.

Tomorrow we are taking Maddison out again. We had planned to take her to Smithills Farm to see the animals. But by the time I paid the bus fare and the price for us to get in it would cost £30 and the weather as been really bad again here all day. So think we might be better doing something inside. Getting Inky

Went to Bury shopping yesterday with hubby. What a dreadful day weather wise, it heaved it down most of the morning and afternoon. We had gone to buy my meat for the freezer, we had to keep sheltering from the rain, we got so fed up and decided to come home early than we planned. Never mind it gave me more time to get down and inky. I tried out two new lots of stamps I'd not used before. Used my distress inks and Adirondack chocolate to stamp the images. I also used direct to paper for my die cutting. The lighting tonight as made my flowers look darker than what they really are. The stickles around the edges are Yellow and Turquiose and look much brighter in the daylight. Hope you have a good day tomorrow if your on holiday. Happy crafting Hugs x ChrisB

Bah humbug-something new

A lovely day was had by all yesterday. The weather stayed lovely and Maddison had a great time at the Science Museum. She loved looking at all the planes and enjoyed playing in part of one upstairs where you could see the cockpit. She pretended she was at the control and started all the engines, we had to pretend to fasten our seatbelt, and take off. We had a picnic and a bag of chips in the little park then back inside to see all the experiments, she had a go on all of them twice. There was also some sports going on so she joined in all of those too. She won the obstacle race twice, mind you she was very compatative and there was some cheating. After all the exercise it was icecream time then back on the train. It was standing room only. Maddison had a different idea and lay down and nodded off. Must admit by this time I was wishing I could do the same.

Today I have had a lovely play with new things for the Bah humbug challenge. I have used one set of my stamps that I bought with my winning voucher. I used two cosmic shimmer sprays then overstamped with snowflakes. I used my snowflake die then glittered it and used another of my set for the centre. Added some new ribbon and New gems from my prize. I have also made 8 cards from a new Fizzy Moon diecut pad called Festive Fun. It makes 24 cards, but I am using it to make 48 cards. I am making them this year to post without costing me a fortune.
I suppose I had better go and tidy my dinning room up now. It's a good job you all can't see the mess I've managed to make, also the massive pile of ironing I've been ignoring. Oh well it is my hols after all.

Winning stash

Just thought I'd pop by to tell you I'm on my Hols for two weeks. I'm staying at home and hoping to play a bit everyday. Not easy when your son is on nights and trying to sleep all day, have to get up early and carry half my craftroom downstairs . You set off doing something to find you can't get any further because the rest of the stuff you need is out of bounds. Never mind I'm thrilled to say I spent my winning voucher from Abicraft on thursday and I got my parcel at three'oclock today. That's great as it came by carrier and it said from Hong Kong. I thought I'd show you what I chose.

Bah humbug - kisses

Hi all, I have not managed to spend my voucher although I have tried for two and a half hours, Abiscrafts who my voucher was for. Their website won't accept the voucher number. I e mailed them two days ago, but not had a reply. I have had to contact Papercraft essentials magazine. Never had soooo much trouble trying to spend money before. I have been busy making two cards for Birthdays on Friday and my Bah humbug challenge This week the challenge was for kisses. I decided to use a My craft studio image. I took the backing image onto the screen and altered the opacity. Then I took a bauble onto the top of it. I copied the bauble image ,then I had two the same size. Added a bow embellishment and also copied that twice. I then cut out the centre of my spare bauble image, using a spellbinders circle die. Added acetate to the back of it and a glitter border. Made it into a shaker card and decoupaged my bow embellishment. Added a small amount of glitter.
My other cards I used Tizzy Teddy as Amelia will be three. I added flower embellishment and some glitter and a couple of heart buttons. Quite a quick card. The other is for friends who's birthdays are Friday and Saturday. So I've been mean and made a shared card. To go with their shared present.

Hi, what a day it's been. First I worked over 30 mins because I stupidly had a senior moment and thought it was Tuesday . Didn't realise until I got in and my Hubby said " where have you been your late." I should have been on my way back out to do the shopping. Got changed went shopping, by the time I got to Tescoes I was like a drowned rat and dripping everywhere. Then guess what I find that because we are have having an exstention to the store, they have moved everything around. It took me twice as long to finish my shopping. To top it off when I get home I find that the battery I had left charging for my camera last night hadn't charged at all. Somehow I don't think it been my day.

Never mind I have managed to borrow a camera and take my card I made for the Bah humbug challenge which was White on White.

Hello all ,today I have used a digi download backgroud from Chocolate Baroque. I just love this paper. I have used a set of stamps by Andy Skinner. Distress ink, old paper and tea dye. I have also used some Embroidered Ribbon lace sewn with Sequins and beads. My metal scissor embellishment was from Hobbycraft.

A couple of cards

Hi everyone I have been working on a couple of cards. They are both for the same person, it is a friend at work .She is retiring tomorrow and her birthday is on Saturday she will be 76, so no names mentioned. She would be telling me off if she knew I was telling all the world how old she was. She as been forced to retire and she was upset as she is still brilliant at her job.She as worked for the firm for over 30 years. and I have worked with her for 20 of those. I will really miss her. She still is very young at heart,you would not think she was 70 even. I have used a stamp set from Dimension Fourth that I have had for a little while, but not used before. I hope she likes the cards and as a long Healthy and Happy Retirement.

Bah humbug - beads

Hi folks had a fairly quiet weekend as my grand daughter was at home this weekend. The first time since the end of February. My it was quiet, no wirlwind running about and climbing all over, I did miss her though. Haven't seen her for a week she's been away for 3 days with her mum and today Daddy as taken her away until Thursday. I do hope the weather is nice she wants to go and play on the beach. They have gone near Filey so fingers crossed I haven't seen the weather forcast.

I have managed to do some stamping and glueing to make my card for this weeks challenge over at Bah humbug. It has to have some beads on it. I was out on Saturday and saw this stamp by Personnal Impressions and really liked it. I thought it would work perfectly for this challenge. I have stamped it and coloured it with pro markers. Glued on some seed beads then added dangly beads at the bottom. The background I cut out of Gold mirror card and used a Nellie Sneddon die to make the windows. the greeting is from a card last christmas. I couldn't get a good photo to show the gold because of the reflection, it looks black on here.

All dressed up

Two posts within 5 mins this is a first. For this card I have used a LOV image coloured and glittered and used glossy accents on her beads and mirror. This is the first time I have used a sewing machine on my cards and I really enjoyed it. So will be doing this again. Added a tulle bow and pin and used some die cuts.

It feels like winter today so decided to do my card for the Bah humbug challenge which this week is a shaped card. I have made another Rocker card. This time I have made it for my granddaughter who is called Maddison and she is 3 years old. She loves teddies and I fell in love with this image as soon as I saw it. I thought she would really like it. I have printed the backing paper and the image from My craft Studio. I decided to decoupage part of the image. I added glitter and Glossy accents.

Hi have been playing around with acetate ,coordinations card and Lili of the valley teddies having tea.I used papermania kraft card.I then stuck acetate to the front of the card. Coloured the teddy stamp and added flower soft. I crocheted the rose and added a couple of punched leaves. I can't believe it's Friday again tomorrow these weeks are really going faster.

Bah humbug- Mice

Hi folks hope your weeks got off to a good start. Mines going fine up to now, I've just done my card for Bah humbug which was for mice. Well I've only managed one mouse, but I think he's quite cute. I've cut an aperture and inked the background. Stamped and coloured little squeek the mouse with promarkers. Added glossy accents to his lights and done a bit of decoupage with his head and feet. I stamped the sentiment and then added some stamped and decoupaged holly. Also added a ribbon bow and you just have to have some glitter.

Bah humbug-acetate

Everywhere in my house today is sparkling , needless to say it's not because of housework. I've been making my challenge card for Bah humbug which this week you had to use acetate. I must be psychic I have been out of acetate for ages and decided to buy some a couple of weeks ago. Last week I bought a Magenta christmas stamp half price. It was shouting out for acetate. I stamped with Stazon and coloured the sky with promarker and glittered the snow. I then cut an aperature in the front of my card the same shape as my stamp . Cut out my image and glued it to the front of my card. I have had a little trouble trying to get a good picture. In the second picture I put one of those flickering night lights inside the card to try and show that it's acetate. I added blue Ribbon and used part of my new Snowflake die and glittered it too. One of my favourite stamps

What a lovely sunny weekend we have had. Today I have been crafting outside again. I used one of my favourite Elusive Image stamps to make an Anniversary card. The backing paper is one I recieved from E. I when I joined the guild I stamped an coloured the image with promarkers and my ribbon. The stamp down the side is a Bo Bunny timepiece stamp. I punched a swirl and added my cherub. I made the card for one of my internet friends. Just noticed on my picture a white patch near my ribbon. It's just a tiny piece of paper thats attached it's self with static. It's gone now. Can't be bothered to take another picture. Happy crafting. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi while my mouse is having a good moment I will show you the other card I have managed to finish. It for my friend Doris she will be 86 on Thursday and her favourite flowers are Sweetpeas. I have used Sheena Douglas stamps and coloured the background with distress ink. The sweetpeas were coloured with promarkers. I have decoupaged some of the flowers but they don't really show on my photo.I also added some pearls.The backing paper was from an Elusive Image Essence of Nature. I have altered the opacity of it in My craft studio. You can't really see it . I think she will like it. Off to see if I can get straight now before bed. Hugs x ChrisB

I have had a good weekend. I went with my friend Pat to see a Lyndsey Mason Demo in Chorley at Crafty Addicts Craftshop. I got some of Tim's tissue tape and two sheets of resist kraft card. Still thinking what I am going to do with yet. I also got a couple of distress stains to have a play with.
I also had a good time with my grandaughter. Last night she was telling me made up creepy stories about monsters. They are really good for a three year old. She as a very vivid imagination. I had to have three stories before she would go to sleep. I always thought it was me that was supposed to tell her stories before bed. Boy have times changed since mine were little.

Today I have been busy crafting outside. It wasn't sunny all day, but it has still been very warm. I took some images outside to colour and a few bits of backing paper and dies. I also did another card but need to find some buttons to stick on yet. I also did piles of washing and a bit of the garden. I'm off for a quick drink now then off to bed. Hi just found time to do my card for the Bah humbug challenge. I can't believe its the twenty fourth already. This week it's scarf and mittens, for this I've used a stamp I got about 3 years ago I think. I have stamped her with Impress ink and coloured with promarkers. I have added crystal glitter, also Diamond sparkles soft snowdrift. I used my spellbinders dies to mount and cut her out. I really like this pink, blue and green theme for Christmas.

Fathers Day

I have made my OH a Fathers day card. I used Hero Arts canvas stripe, Tempest Fugit and Pocket watch free with Craft stamper magazine. Also a Teddy bear stamp I have had years. I stamped the paper on real Newspaper and paper pieced it along with the chair covers. Used promarkers to colour the rest. Two eyelets and a piece of ribbon. The sentiment I printed out on computer. Sorry I've not been around to visit you this week. Just not had any time. I have been crafting abit everynight but keep having to take everything down stairs to do it. Then put everything back away when I have finished. So by the time I've finished it's been way past midnight. Hope fully I will show you the rest of my cards before weekend. Then I thought of my son,as a teenager he never liked Christmas and still doesn't. He was all ways frowning and glum. I have found this cat image and it reminded me of him and made me chuckle. By the Sea

I stamped and watercoloured this image a few weeks ago, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not. I put it in my coloured image box and forgot about it. I had a birthday card to make for a friend and she is off on holiday next week. Her Birthday is while she is away and I remembered this little scene. I remembered my die cut frame and wondered if it would fit. I was so pleased when I found that it did. I stamped my sentiment and then added shells etc to finish it off. I'm quite pleased with it now. Just hope she will like it. I was going to glaze the windows but don't know if it will make my colour move. I'll try it on the lights first and if they are ok I'll do the windows. I'll get a card finished properly yet before I decide to take a photo. I promise. Bah humbug-surprise

Well were did the weekend go, I think I missed it, I must be getting old. Don't seem to fit much in these days. Back to work today and I'm afraid I had the Monday morning feeling all day. I came home and thought snap out of it and make a card. So I surprised myself how quick I managed to make this. I hope you like it.

I have left the bottom section blank, but will cut a fancy section out to mat and layer with my verse on. I just need to decide who it is going to go to before I can do that. Sorry it hasn't any stamping on but I just fell in love with this cute little decoupage that was free out of one of the magazines ages ago. I found this very easy to make and will definately be making some more of these but with some stamping on. I have a birthday card to make for Thursday so I think that will be my second one. New Fairy Digi

Two postings today, crikey haven't I been the busy bee today. This card is made with a new digi that I got yesterday. It is from Cuddly Buddly, isn't she pretty. I have coloured her with promarkers and added glitter. The backing papers are from Me to You range Tatty Teddy. I thought the little butterflies were so pretty and would work with my fairy. Bah humbug - bells

Another week and another Christmas challenge from Bah humbug. This week it's bells, would you believe I couldn't find a stamp with bells on when I wanted it. I decided that I would use some tiny bells I bought a few of months ago. I stamped a swag using a box of tiny stamps that were the first stamps I bought. Plus a couple of tapestry stamps. I then went to look for my bells and had a fit when I couldn't find where I had put them. I went off up to my friends on the scrounge and came back with these little bells. I have sewn them onto my card. The sentiment is my Dimension Fourth. I cut two gold borders and threaded with Ribbon and added bows to finish.

Hello, hope your all having a great weekend out there. I have had a very busy one up to now, but hooray for an extra day of work tomorrow. I have managed to fit in a bit of quick crafting. I am starting to make cards for a friend as part of her christmas present. She sends loads of cards out during a year. She loves my cards and loves that I make lots of different ones for her, some just to write notes in and others as birthday cards etc. I usually make her about 30 to 40 all different. I have made two Tatty teddy and a fairy card.

Today I'm posting my card for this weeks Bah Humbug challenge. I'm afraid it's been made in a bit of a rush and wasn't the one I originally planned. I hope you like it.
I have been very busy doing the dreadful housework this week. Washing walls down and spring cleaning and tidying everywhere up. My daughter who works and lives at the moment up Scotland, she is a Forsensic Pathologist is bringing her new man to meet us for the first time. She as only ever brought one home before and they went out together for seven years and then split up. We are going out for a meal when I finish work tomorrow, then she will be back off up to Scotland. I hope you are all having a good week and now working to hard. Wedding Easel gift box

My friend at work saw my Christmas Easel calenders that I made. She liked them and asked if I could make one for her Daughters Wedding. She wants to give them some money for a wedding present so thought this little box with a drawer would be just the thing. I have used a Lili of the Valley image and coloured it with promarkers. I have printed the backing papers off a cd and used my cuttlebug and some mirror card. The flowers and ribbon are the colour of the bridesmaids dresses. I have taken my photo again before I added stickles to my flowers. I always forget.

Brayering.

Today I thought I'd show you a couple of quick cards I made with my brayer. My son was asleep in my craftroom and I only had a few limited things on my table downstairs. I just went for it to see what I could come up with, I was quite pleased with the results. I had 2 dye ink pads , white and black card. Glue , and old birthday card, 3 stamps and foil, scissors and mica powder.

Bah humbug - snowflakes

Hi ,everyone is having fun this week at Bah humbug with Snowflakes. I have just made this card for the challenge using a free download paper that I got from Glenda Waterworth last year. Isn't it lovely. I added a Ribbon and my Snowflake also a bit of embossing. The greeting was recyled from an old Christmas card. I just left it quite simple as I wanted the paper to show. A little crafter in the making.

Hi folks a new week , hope you all had a a lovely weekend. It was definately a cold one here it felt like winter again. I went out to Wigan on Saturday delivering my Wedding card and book, but I soon came home to get warm. I did a bit of crafting and I had a little helper. My grandaughter who's three she helped me to make two card. I cut the decoupage out and Maddi put all the sticky pads on the back and took all the backs off all by herself. I postioned them down. She said she wanted some flowers on, so I cut them out. She put the pads on again then just stuck them down herself . I told her were to put the first one then she put the rest on were she wanted.She then put the glitter glue on by herself. She's very independent and won't let you hold the bottle or touch it.

I just told her to squeeze it gently. She also put the pearls on. Something else I wasn't allowed to touch.I think she did brilliantly. On the second one she punched all the flowers and stuck them together herself and glittered them. I just said stick two at the top and one at the bottom and she did. I'm so proud of her. She usually can't keep still for a minute and doesn't have much concentration level. You should have seen her face as she concentrated on getting the backs off the sticky pads. I wish I'd had my camera. A little crafting star in the making I think. She's also getting good at stamping. She opens my stamps before I get to them when they are free on the mags. It's so much fun when you have someone to play with. I better watch out because she loves working the computer as well. I'll be out of a job. a few cards

Hi this week is flying by again very quickly, but I have managed to get a few things made. I stamped some images out a while ago , so I thought I would colour them and get a few cards made. I took the photo's and forgot I hadn't put my stickles on my flowers. I have added it now but can't be bothered to retake my photo's. So you just have to imagine it's on. Paint fusion experimant.

Back to work today so not as much time to play now. I did manage to go and have a play at my friends house on Saturday. I have the paint fusion video but haven't bought any of the stamps. I used my friends paint and had ago at using Sheena's sketchy poppy stamp. I also had a go with a pansy stamp. They were a bit tricky with being so small. I was quite pleased with how they turned out as it was only my first attempt. I might colour them around the edge with distress ink, I haven't decided what do with them yet, so still thinking about it.

Bah humbug - recyling or green

This is week over at Bah Humbug the challenge is to use green or recycle. Tonight I have done both. I have used an acetate box that was off my grandaughters money box. I made a lid for it out of card. I then wrapped sticky ribbon around the bottom and top of the acetate. To decorate the lid I recycled a piece of stamping I had used before. Put a red bit of used envelope on top another piece of stamping and then cut a robbin off last years christmas cards. For inside the box I just cut a piece of green card that was already on the bit of money box card. I am going to fill it with a decorated candle or pot-pourri at Christmas for a little present. Good evening, just thought I squeeze a quick post in to show you some cards I made the other day. This one is using craftwork cards paper. I just love these papers. The second is a mans card from free papers in Making cards for men magazine. I've made this to post to Dad for his birthday. But I also finished my Wedding card , it was made with some stamps I got that were reduced the other week. They're called Going to the chapel , Forever friends. This is there first outing and my first double circle easel card that I have made. I have also made a box for it. It is for the same bride and groom as my wedding book. But off an Aunty this time. Bah humbug - pleats

I'm off work this week on holiday. Can't believe what good weather I have had so far. For the past 4 years it as poured down and been horrible everytime I've been on hols. I don't go away anywhere, usually just potter about at home. This week I have done quite abit of crafting. I have done my card today for Bah humbug which included pleats. I have done a new shaped card. Hope you like it. First time I have done pleats but quite pleased with it. So most probably will use them again.

I have also finished my Wedding Book commission. This is the biggest one I have done. It's from the brides Mother to her daughter. I'm praying that she loves it. Here are the rest of the pictures. I posted the rest a few days ago.
Sorry the last two are in the wrong order. It is so long it was hard to take pictures. My idea was taken from the stamped nature one in craft stamper magazine. I joined mine together by running three strips of ribbon through under the beautiful Embossed card that is on the back of all the pages. You can see it on the front cover. I have nearly finished another card for the same wedding. I will most probably beable to post a picture of that tomorrow.

What a fantastic Royal Wedding Day it as been. Congratulations to William and Catherine.Wishing you a long and Happy life together.

I have had a lovely day glued to the Tv watching the event of the year. What a fantastic day it as been. They are such a lovely couple and so well suited together. I have alos spent some of the time doing some more of my wedding book I am making. I just have to put my verse in it and then it will be finished. I'll show you some pages and then the rest when I have put the verse in.

Bah Humbug -Santa

Just finished my card for the Bah humbug challenge. It's been a bit of a challenge today to get it done. I had to just grab the first things I could get my hands on, 5 mins before going to work. I took them to work not having any idea on what I was going to do. My ornament was a stamp i borrowed and stamped years ago. I had grabbed a pot of glitter so I used my glue pen in my break and glittered the red part. Cut my craft card and and backing papers and stuck them down at dinner time. Cut my ornament out and stuck my Vellum Santa behind it. My friend came down to visit tonight so have thrown the rest of the glitter on it and added two gems and a bow in the last quarter of an hour. Sorry but my photo is a bit dodgy as its gone funny when the lights hit my glitter. Hope I get more time to do next weeks.

Sorry I have not got round to visit any blog in a while. It's a bit hard when sharing my room with a son who only starts work at 10 pm in an evening. Thanks for dropping by I realy apprecite your comments. Happy crafting. Hugs x ChrisB

Glitter and glitz Paris

Hi hope everyone had a lovely Easter. I had a busy time , my Hubby and I went out on Saturday with my Son and grandaughter to Cleveleys. We had a lovely time ,but it was very cold and windy on the front. We had a potter around the shops for an hour while Maddi and her Dad played on the beach. I t was the first time that she had been in the sea. Even though it was quite cool she had run about with no clothes on splashing about and had a great time. He had made a little video of her giggling away in the water.

Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt at 7am as she knew Easter Bunny had been. Monday I had some time to myself and did some crafting. I managed to do some more of my Wedding Book. I will be able to show you soon. I also managed to use my Glitter and Glitz Paris cd and make a card for a very dear friend of mine. The card is actually longer than a A3 card, so had to join the box together. My card wasn't as strong as I would have liked But it's done now. I just hope she likes it. I am going to add some ribbon around both sides of the middle section before I give it to my friend for her birthday.

Bah humbug - stockings

I have managed to get my card for the Bah humbug challenge. This week it's Christmas stockings, I have made the card over the last two days in my dinner time at work. I stamped my image and coloured it with promarkers then added a touch of glitter. Stuck on my backing paper ,I think it was free with a magazine.Used a Martha stewart punch for the border and cut a ribbon of backing paper. Stamped one of my Lili of the valley sentiment stamps and edged it with promarker. I hope you are all enjoying this great weather and having a good week.

Gosh!! A new week already . I can't believe it, since my son came home and Maddison is here every weekend. The time seems to be going twice as quick. I have a two quick cards to show you. I made them yesterday outside in the sunshine. They were made with very limit craft stuff as Lee was fast asleep and didn't want to creep about as he works nights. Hi everyone, hope your week is going well, can't believe it's nearly weekend again. I haven't anything to show you today, but I am crafting away. I'm working on a Wedding Book. I've been asked to make two over the top Wedding cards for the same couple's wedding. I decided to make a wedding book for the first one as it's off the Mother of the bride. I just hope she will be pleased with it. I'm making 8 pages and have finished 2 at the moment. I'm working from an idea that was in last months Craft stamper magazine. which was a Nature book. I will try to take a picture tomorrow to show you.
I'm struggling at the moment as my Son as moved back home. I moved into his bedroom 4 years ago and made it into my craft room, with built in units. I am now sharing the space. So every time I try to craft I have to work in a metre space and tidy everything up afterwards. Plus every weekend I have my Little grandaughter over to stay so can't craft then so she doesn't hear me and goes to sleep.

Bah humbug - humourous

Wow this as been a hard one this week. Looked through all my stamps and nothing. I had given up when I spotted a paper chain I had bought my Granddaughter at Christmas. It made me smile, especially the snowcat and the snoozing snowman. I added a smiley jolly snowman and that was it.

Less is more - sketch

To posts in one evening this as to be a record. I have just been busy doing my Less is More card. This week you have to follow a sketch. I must admit I have never worked off a sketch before. I thought I would do something different and make a card with a bottle top. I flattened by bottle top and painted it all over with pearl paint. While it was drying I stamped my image and cut it out with a circle die. Glued it into my top and then filled it with Anita's clear gloss finish and filled the edge with seed beads and beads on my ladies head band. I Mounted my Bottle top onto a flower cut from some Guipere Lace I had then added it on top of some satin ribbon.

Bah humbug -christmas trees

I have had to make a quick card this week for the Bah humbug challenge . Now that my son as moved back home and we have our Granddaughter staying over every weekend and also on Tuesdays all day. My time seems to be filled with washing and housework instead of crafting. But it's all good fun. I have made my card from recyled parts. The white embossing was left over from another card. The background with the christmas trees was packaging from Tescoes chocolate bars I bought Christmas 2009. The snowman was stamped last year. The snowflake was cut off a gift card and the snow and ribbon was from a card someone sent me last Christmas. I just knew that some of the little bits I hoard would come in sometime. Hope you like it. I'm off for a stiff drink to see if I can shake this virus off I've been struggling with all week.

Not feeling to good

Hi, not feeling to good today. Started yesterday with a lousy cold and cough. Coughed all day at work and kept losing my voice on the phone. Trying to repeat orders back to the customer when your croaking isn't easy. Hope it starts to get a bit better tomorrow. My daughter as come home until Sunday and we are supposed to be going out for another meal on Saturday, She only manages to get home a few times a year. At Christmas she was home and she was ill and then now I'm ill, typical.

I have a card to show you I made earlier this week. It was my friends for their Anniversary.

I have had a lovely day today, It's been my Hubby's 60th , so booked the day off work and took him out on the train to Manchester. We had a great time looking around the Science Museum. Went to Duke92 resturant for lunch and had a lovely stroll around town. The weather was lovely and we spent an hour just lazing by the canal in the sunshine. He's now lounging with a beer in front of Tv while I've been playing. I have made my Less is More card which this week is Masculine. Used a couple of stamps I bought years ago and decided to make a tag shaped card.

Bab Humbug-Metalics

Hi, this week over at Bah humbug is Metalics. I was struggling with this as I had no metal and then I had a brain wave. My OH beer can. I washed it out and then cut it open and covered it with Alcohol inks and ran it through a cuttlebug folder. Stamped my image with Wow gold powder. Cut it out with a spellbinders die mounted it on gold mirror card. I'm quite pleased with it. So will try this again.

Busy, busy ,busy.

Hi folks, hope your all having fun crafting. I have been busy, busy, busy the last few days. Had a great time on Sunday at the Sincerely yours show at Leigh with my two friend Sheilagh and Pat. Was really bad and got some new great stash. Fairy stamps, A set of Hobby art scene it stamps a Adirondack ink pad. Also got Warren the rabbit to colour in and two tiny mountain bikers from stampscape to fit on my scenes.

I have two cards to show you tonight, the first I made for my darling Granddaughters 3rd Birthday at the end of February. Also a picture of Maddi blowing out her candles.

The second card is for my friends little girl who is 3 tomorrow. I made a little book card and filled it with the story of Peter Rabbit.

Bah humbug -Aperture

This week over at Bah humbug its apertures. I have used a spellbinders die to cut my aperture and also my dangling image. I stamped my image and used glaze pens to colour it in. I have backed my image with a turquiose cut piece to cover the white to match the inside of my card. Added ribbon and glitter glue.

Less is more challenge 6

Hi everyone this week at Less is More is stamping off the edge. I had three goes at this which I didn't like and ended in the bin, so used some other stamps. I used Monkeying Around stamps designed by Sam Poole. I love these cheeky little chaps. I cut a third off the front of my card in a curve shape. Then I stamped the leaves off the top end of the card. This was my jungle on the front and across the inside to match when the card is shut. I then stamped the swinging monkey onto a vine on the front. I opened my card up and drew the vine lined up with the front one. For this I used the curved piece of card I had cut off the front and a fine black liner pen. I then stamped my other monkey, banana and sentiment on the inside. I coloured them with promarkers. Hope you like it.

Less is More - Pastels

Over at Less is More this week its Pastels. For my card I have used a stamp byDarkroom doors from the set friendship flowers. I stamped it onto gloss card and embossed it with Mallow Flame cosmic shimmer embossing powder. I then coloured the background with Spun Sugar distress ink. I also stamped over the image with the same colour and a fancy font stamp. Cut it out with Spellbinders Die and added pearls. For the card I used a plain white card and used the same font stamp. I also coloured the ribbon with the Spun sugar distress ink.

Hi everyone, sorry not been visiting many blogs this week. I've had a very hard week. My Son and his partner split last week, which was very upsetting and worrying . Worrying because of my little darling Grandaughter and also as my Son was homeless and in a lot of debt . Due to not much help off his partner if any at all. In a nutshell he as had to work and do everything in the house for the past 4 years and do everything for his daughter.
He as come back home to try and sort his life out, which is going to be very difficult. I have had to go through our house this week and have a massive declutter. Mainly in my craftroom , which was my Sons bedroom before he moved out 4 years ago. I had my knitting machine and sewing stuff in there plus all my card making stuff. It's nearly all had to go, it6's nearly killed me this week. I've worked everyday and then worked until midnight moving stuff and throwing. I've filled 2 large paperbins and about 25 dustbin bags. My son also had to pack loads of stuff up into the loft. I've just got loads of magazines to look through so I can throw them. Life is going to be very different now and noisier as Maddison will be coming to stay hopefully on Friday and Saturday nights. Don't know how much crafting I'm going to be doing.

Bah humbug flying things

Hi folks sorry I haven't posted much this last couple of weeks. Life is throwing me into a crisis at the moment. But in time I know I'll get through it, but it is going to be a while.
On a better note I did manage to get a card made for Bah humbug things that fly. I have used a circle punch . A stamp with 5 birds on can't remember whose it is. Can't look for it I'm sat in a tip. Coloured it with watercolour pencils and added stickles glue. The tip by the way is because I've had to empty half of my craftroom furniture and craft stuff and I'm now in middle of large throw out. Will try to post again soon.
