Friday, 16 July 2010

Hi everyone thought I'd share with you a card I've made called Lillibean Fairies they are digi stamps I have not tried these before. But I'm quite pleased how they printed out and coloured ok. I've used my pro markers again. They are so easy to carry to work and colour in my lunchbreak.  I hope you all have something nice planned for the weekend. I have my grandaughter all day tomorrow and Sunday I'm off to a Christening.

Flowers for you.

Today I've used a Lili of the valley  image. My friend let me use her stamps the other week to stamp alot of cutie images. I have made a shaped card and played at using ribbon a different way. The paper is from Creative card making magazine. Since taking the photo I have added abit of glitter to the spots on the paper around the flowers.

Special Christening card.

Wow! were as this week gone, can't beleive it's nearly weekend again. I've been busy all week working on a Special Christening card for my best friends Granddaughter. She's 28th months old and getting christened next sunday. I wanted to make a card that wasn't too babyish.  I love this little Stamp she is called Mimosa and is by a swedish company. I have made the church window by using a free download from my craft studio. It was Blue so changed the colour . I also had to alter the picture as it had a big spray of lilies on half of the window. I pasted and copied and also flipped the design, I printed it onto vellum then cut the flowers off the pieces and joined them together and covered up the join with my stamping. Added roses and the little metal wired bits and stickles to the flowers and added fabric butterflies and the guipure lace. Also added the little metal cross. I coloured the deisn with promarkers and also the ribbon to match. The punching was a Martha Stewart punch. It's the first card I've made with so much decoration, but I wan't it to be really special.

Happy 4th of July

Good morning and a Happy 4th of July. A very dull and breezy day here. I have been using my Pro markers again and some Versa magic chalk ink.. I love this image I think he's so cute. I used a tiny paw print stamp and the paper was free from a magazine ages ago.
I hope your all having a great crafting weekend. Posting this now as my lovely Grandaughter is coming around to play this afternoon. I think I'll get a few stamps out for her to play with. She loves coming in my craft room and stamping, then  scribbling all over them with her crayons. We end up so messy What a joy!! I love it.
