Sorry  I have been missing again. The day after I got home from hols my computer broke. It had to be taken away to be fixed. Fingers crossed it's ok now.
I will have to take some photo's then I can show you some things I have been making.

Wow I had a fantastic time on holiday, I loved Italy and all the places we visited. I'm afraid I have no pictures to show you yet. I spent  aload of time taking pictures for the first two days especially of Venice. I was taking loads of shots of  building, masks , fish, arches and door knobs, and plaques etc. I had planned to have a go at scrapbooking.
Unfortunately I had a fall on the third day while at a market. I was ok, I'd banged my elbow and my leg. I was very lucky as I went down like a sack of spuds straight full length. I couldn't even remember falling I just knew my face and everything was on the floor. I t shook me up and I didn't realise I had lost my camera until I got back on the coach. I was upset that I'd lost all my great pictures. I am hoping to get some off my daughters camera . I haven't seen what she as taken as she spent some of the time off on her own exploring, due to the fact that I couldn't walk too far without a sit down.

I'm late posting as I have been home a week, but came back with a cough which seems to be getting a lot worse. I also switched my computer on and it broke so have had to have someone out to look and fix it.
I have made a few cards this week. The first two I made at Sheliaghs class at Crafty Patch in Chorley. The second two I made using a set of Hunkadory that  were  a birthday present from my best friend Pat.

Sorry I've not been around I have been so busy.  Last week was my 60th Birthday so I had my daughter home for a few days. We went out and had a nice meal.
I have done a bit of crafting but not taken any photo's and have been to a craft class today with my friend.
I am busy trying to pack and clean and tidy up. My daughter as treated us to a coach holiday to Italy for my birthday present.We go on Saturday at 6 o'clock in the morning, I've got my fingers crossed that  we get down the country ok with all this rain. We have not had a proper holiday for about twenty years and I've never been on a coach abroad. Infact I have only been abroad twice before. We are off to Lake Garda and will be visiting Venice, Verona and the Dolamites.
I will be missing my crafting so I'm taking some knitting to pass the time on the coach. I will show you some pictures hopefully when I get back. Happy crafting love and hugs x ChrisB

Hi had  a terrible day yesterday, sat waiting for a gas engineer to come and remove my electric meter. They had rung up two weeks ago and  said it had to be changed.  They came at 3oclock and said they couldn't touch the meter for health and safety reasons as ther e was a bare wire. So I then I had to wait again for the electric board to send an engineer to fix it. At six he turned up  and did his bit. I then had to inform the gas board that it was now ready to be removed. Two hours later they had not turned up so rang again on the numer I was given earlier in the day. I got a man who then preceeded to tell me that the gas board didn't remove electric meters. But he could send an engineer to look at my boiler. You can imagine what words I then had with him for about twenty minutes.  At ten o'clock I got a gas man at the door who said he had been sent to look at my faulty gas meter.   What faulty gas meter, it's working perfectly. I  was then told  that the other gas man had given me the wrong contact number.  I then had to ring again this morning to make another appointment. We are now having to wait until 17th October to go through it again.  The world as gone mad and these companys who are making way to much profits want to get their acts together.
 I have been to the dentist again today my checkup went well , thank goodness. Fingers crossed I'm ok for another six months.
That's enough of the waffling, I have two cards to show you.  We have to go to school in the morning and pick Maddison up from school. We are going to take her out for lunch as she starts school full time on Monday.

Tuesday already, the days seem to be going faster and with the nights starting to draw in the days seem even shorter. I've been to the dentist today finally got my crown in. I've had to wait a whole year to get it done. It seems really funny now I'd got use to having a gap at the front.
 It's been our 36th Wedding Anniversary today. It was our Silver Wedding when it was 9/11. I have been remembering and praying for all those people that lost a loved one  and who are still suffering today. We have been out for a meal tonight  and had a lovely time.
This week as turned out to be a busy week. I have the British Gas coming to change our electric meter tomorrow. I'm hoping the electric won't be off long. Then thursday I'm off to the dentist again. Then friday I think I'm picking Maddi up from school at 11.30.

Hi I have been busy crafting all week and have been very fustrated as I've just not had the time to get on my computer after my son's gone to work. Never mind I'm here now and I'd better get on with it.
 I've made a housemouse card for my friends birthday she loves cats and dogs so I've made it with a cute little cat scene. I used my new Memory box christmas ornament die. I don't know about you but I love it behind my image. The next two cards I made with a new stamp I got on tuesday and couldn't wait to play with it. The first is made with tea die ink and paper piecing. On the second one I used promarkers, and Anita's glaze.

  I'm off out tomorrow night with an old friend for a meal. It will most proberly be next week before I can get to the computer again, so wishing you a great weekend. Hugs x ChrisB

I've had a lovely weekend

I've had a lovely weekend, Maddison was realy good for us and we even managed a bit of a lie in. She usually has us up a 6am but only got up a 8.30 both morning. Her Daddy was working last night so she came into bed with me and we watched Stuart Little  before we got up.

She spent quite alot of the time crafting. She used my cuttlebug and cut out my Persian accents out of gold mirri ,also chose some  stamps inked them up herself and stamped them. She then used my glitter and stickles to decorate what she had stamped. I wasn't allowed to help at all. I took the photo last night but this morning she put gems on the parsian accents. She made it for her cousin and wrote her name in it herself. I think she did a brilliant job as she's not 5 until next year, I'm so proud of her.
I spent the rest of the day washing and tidied up. Tonight I've been watching the para olympics, they are all so fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed every event. They have done Britain proud, also been knitting.
