Ruby Wedding

Hi everyone hope your all having a good week. I have been busy working on a Ruby Wedding card that I was commisioned to make. I have used the Elusive Image Harlequin Rose stamp plate. I just love this rose design. I have mixed my own embossing powder. It is a mixture of gold, red and black. It looks much better in real life. I'm afraid my photographic skills let me down. I coloured it with Derwent coloursoft pencils and blended with Sansodor. I stamped on pearl white card. The pictures inside were done on my craft studio. I also added a 40th Happy Anniversary on the front of the card at the bottom. I only remembered when I had already taken the photo.

I have been having a playday today, thought I would use some of my Crafty Individual stamps.

I have used some backing paper I had and changed the colour with Distress inks. I also over stamped with some new stamps from Dimension Fourth a new swirl set. On one card I added the flowers I coloured it to match and over stamped it and added a bit of Rock Candy distress stickles. The second card I added a bit of gold leaf onto the flowers. It doesn't show very well in the photo. Also thought I would add some tulle for a change from the other one.

Hi, have been off on holiday from work this week. Only stayed at home to chill and have a rest.It didn't start off too well as I had to rush hubby to hospital on the first day. They did tests gave him painkillers and fluids then let him home. He's feeling alot better but very tired.

He usually helps me at home so I have had to do all the dreaded housework all week. Also my little grandaughter has been round everyday wanting Nanna to play with Barbie and crawl about on the floor with Barbie's car. I was planning to get some serious crafting in but not manged it. I have a few things to show you.

Every year I get asked to make a dozen ladies golf cards. They all have to be different as they are for the same person. This is my 3rd year of making them. This year I couldn't really find my mojo and struggled with them, but here are a few of them.

I also have made a few cards for my friends on the internet. The last one I made this week which was for Dads Birthday. I decided to use some of my Sheena Douglas stamps. This is the first time I have used this set and struggled abit making the sand. I just hope Dad will like it, it's his birthday next week.

Lolly break.

Here's my beautiful Grandaughter we were rubber stamping outside and playing bubbles. Just managed to keep her still for about three minutes, while she had a lolly break.

Here's the card I made the other night its Gorjuss meets Sheena Douglas. I masked and used Sheena's stamp for the background. Used water colour pencils added flowers and a piece of tulle.

It's the first time I have played with this stamp. Hope you like it.

Wow its weekend again. Hasn't it been nice to have some sun all week. Haven't managed to get much crafting done this week, have been doing alot of the dreaded housework. Plus we have had our little Grandaughter five days this week.

She has worn her Nanna out playing bubbles and hide and seek. She as had a lovely day playing and rubber stamping outside. Lovely paint covered hands and a big smile. She's only just turned two but she's getting the hang of it.
