Hi I have to say I have been doing a lot of blog hopping , but managed to make two cards earlier on in the week. They were both quick cards for friends. On one I did abit of stamping to match the flowers on the main image. The other was off a Cd. Tonight I have made a special card for my next but one neighbour who will be 86 next week. I have to say a Thank you to Becca on Amazing Paper Grace for sharing her Right Angle punching techneque. She is truely amazing if you have not seen her cards, please pop over to see , you'll not be dissapointed. For my card I used Joanna Sheen cd and a lacy image, then did some punching to layer on top. Added ribbon and pearls.

Hi hope everyone as had a good week. I have a couple of stamped quick cards to show you today. For someone who said they weren't going down the promarker way. I can't leave them alone. It's my best friends fault, she let me use some of hers the other week and then I was hooked. They are both fathers day cards using teddy bear stamps.

Oh what a busy bee I've been this week, I've actually managed to finish three cards so far. The first two I made for my neighbour, who's cards I make all the time. The first one I used glimmer spray on the background. I then stamped the main image with three different embosssing powders. The moon I just used the clear plastic ,that comes on the top of cd's. and painted bleach through the central hole. The branches were also bleached. The second I coloured the background with distress inks. Overstamped with a script then run it through the cuttlebug. The ribbon border was made in my cuttlebug and also the swirl. The main image was stamped onto a distressed piece of card. It was sten painted shimmer paints. The next page is a spellbinders pendant cut on the cuttlebug.

The last card is just a quick card I made for in my box. I stamped Daisy which I borrowed from my friend. We had a night together last week just stamping lots of images. I coloured with Pro markers which were also borrowed . I'd never used them before, but I think they are great. I then coloured around with distress inks.

I have a couple of cards to show you today. I made them last week but didn't get time to post them.

The first one was made with my new inkadinkdoo stamps. It was my first attempt with theses stamps and I enjoyed making it using my distress inks and glaze pens.

The second card was made using my cd. It was for my friends little grandaughter.

Hasn't it been great this week seeing some sunshine. I hope you've all had a good week crafting.
Sorry I've posted the cards in the wrong order.

Ruby Wedding

Hi everyone hope your all having a good week. I have been busy working on a Ruby Wedding card that I was commisioned to make. I have used the Elusive Image Harlequin Rose stamp plate. I just love this rose design. I have mixed my own embossing powder. It is a mixture of gold, red and black. It looks much better in real life. I'm afraid my photographic skills let me down. I coloured it with Derwent coloursoft pencils and blended with Sansodor. I stamped on pearl white card. The pictures inside were done on my craft studio. I also added a 40th Happy Anniversary on the front of the card at the bottom. I only remembered when I had already taken the photo.

playday

I have been having a playday today, thought I would use some of my Crafty Individual stamps.

I have used some backing paper I had and changed the colour with Distress inks. I also over stamped with some new stamps from Dimension Fourth a new swirl set. On one card I added the flowers I coloured it to match and over stamped it and added a bit of Rock Candy distress stickles. The second card I added a bit of gold leaf onto the flowers. It doesn't show very well in the photo. Also thought I would add some tulle for a change from the other one.
