Well folks what  a lovely time it has been these last few days, sunshine all the time.  Thursday was lovely for Maddisons sports day at school. It was fun to watch her doing the egg and spoon race, the sack race, and running. I loved to see the concentration on their little faces and they all had lots of fun. Mind you it was very warm for them, but they did get a drink break and a ice pop half way through.
Friday after school she had us all playing football  in the back street. She put me in goal so I didn't have to run  about, which is impossible with my bad feet. Mind you I soon got told off as I wasn't doing it right. All her dolls had to join in and we even had a baby one as referee, as she said he was to tiny to kick the ball.
Saturday we even had breakfast outside and Maddison and I played with her dolls for a couple of hours before her Daddy took her out for the afternoon.
I decided to stay in , so pegged my washing out, put on the radio and sat out all afternoon being lazy and doing my embroidery, Hubby had gone playing tennis so it was lovely and peaceful. After tea Maddison helped me to water all my pots. Then this morning she planted some Sunflowers seeds up and a small pot of peas so she can hopefully watch them grow and water them., then we played with her dolls again. It's so lovely to be able to sit out for a change.
I just have one card to share with you today. I t is a free digi that Nicki Hall designed and it is of herself.  I have coloured with promarkers and used 2 joy dies for the coffee pot and cup and Tattered lace bunting die.
Hope you like it. Have a good week and happy crafting. Love and and hugs x Chrisb

I have been having a bit of a rest from blogging as I am unable to get on the computer until about 10. 15 pm most nights, due to my son sleeping in my craft room, he works nights.  By the time I have spent my time washing and ironing most days I'm too tired to be bothered.
Last week I decided to straighten up some of my craft stuff that I keep down stairs and re- organize it better. I kept losing where I had put things, so I was spending more time looking for things than crafting.
This week I couldn't resist buying  a craft magazine as there was a free set of Lavinia stamps on the front, so have been playing with my inks and some other Lavinia stamps that have not been out for a long time. I have managed to make four cards.

This is my favourite card and uses my new free stamps, I made the background using my duster brushes .
I added a bit of lace and a Tonic die.

This card was  made the same but used my older Lavania stamps.

Sorry I cut the bottom of the card off  in the haste to get my photo's taken. What am I like. This one is made with some of the new stamps, combined with some Cardio stamps as well. I then added little blak jewels to the flowers.

Here I have used my older stamps again.
I'll have to go now as I have been die cutting downstairs and left a lovely mess,  I need to tidy up then tomorrow I might get chance to finish a card I started today.
My friend took me to the garden centre today, so hoping that the weather will be nice so I can finish off my hanging baskets and tubs tomorrow.
Hope you are all having a good week. Thanks for dropping by. Love and crafty hugs x ChrisB
