Last week I got asked to make a Christening card. I decided to do something different. I made a word book. This is my first one and I'm quite pleased with it. I've also made a box for it. It's for a little girl who's being named Daisy May. Hence the little daisies on it.

Had a good day yesterday Saturday, My friend Pat took me to Handmade Heaven at Chorley to see Lindsey Mason. She was demonstrating Martha Stewert punches and Personnel Impression stamps. It was very good.

After tea I made a Nurses Outfit for my Granddaughter. Just cut it out and hoped it fit as she was in bed and I didn't want her to see it. Have given it to her today for her birthday.

Thought I would show you the inside of Maddi's card. Her Grandad made this poem up for her.

Maddi's Toes are 2 Today,

They love to dance

and skip and play.

Maddi's Nose is 2 Today,

It sometimes runs

But never away.

Maddi's Bottom is 2 Today,

Don't change me,

I'm trying to play.

Maddi's Blye eyes are 2 Today,

They twinkle and twinkle,

And ask you to stay.

Maddi's Smile is 2 Today,

I Love You,

It seems to say.

All of Maddi is 2 Today,

With All our Love,

On your Birthday.

Hugs and kisses

from Grandad and Nanna.

Gosh this weeks flown by. Been very, very busy at work, and really tired when I got home. I't's taken me some time to put this card together. I stamped all the animals and coloured them with watercoloured pencils. Printed wood paper on my computer and made up the ark. This is for my darling Grandaughter who is 2 next Sunday. Made it into a hang up card for her. She as been with her Nanna all day today and had a lovely time in my craftroom drawing and playing with my Alphabet stamps.

Hi sorry I've not posted anything recently. I have been very busy over the last couple of days organising all my stamps. I kept them in a big knitting cabinet but always struggled to find the one I wanted.
When looking in this months craft stamper magazine I found that they had made little book to store them in. I thought what a great idea. So I made one and it turned out to hold a lot of stamps. So carried on and now have twelve all sitting on my shelf. I put them all into catergories then labelled the front. So easy to find what you are looking for. I can highly recommend this idea to everyone who as storage problems.

Had a quiet day today and even managed a lie in. Something I'm definately not used to. Switched on tv this afternoon to watch Barbara Grey.

Whilst I was watching I decided to make a card I had ordered. Decided on blue roses and Acetate. The front is an inch smaller than the back so shows some of the inside. You can't tell from my photo.

Gosh is it me feeling my age or are the weeks going by faster. I have been busy crafting this week but not much to show you. I have been making altered bottle tops for a swap. I will post them as soon as I can . I'm really pleased with how they turned out and very reluctant to part with them. I guess I'll just have to make some more for myself.

I have just made a card tonight. The backing paper is an Elusive image one. I have overstamped it with Adironack Ginger dye ink and also stamped the wording , and edged the paper heart with the same colour.

The other picture I'm posting is my lovely little Grandaughter . It's the first time she has had her hair in bunches. I was very surprised she actually stood still for a whole five minutes while I did it. She will be two at the end of the month.
