Hi folks, you know who you are out there. I want to say a big thank you from the bottom of my heart for your lovely postive thought and prayers to get me through today. I had my results today after a very long wait. I have two different cancers going on in my breast. I am now waiting for my appointment to go in which could be as soon as two weeks but no longer than 3 weeks, they said. I will be having a mastecomy and my lymph glands out. I will then need chemotherapy and also radiotherapy, as I have a 6cm lump near my chest wall. They are saying I will be off work for at least 6 months.
I am going back to work tomorrow. I will try and post a card soon. Thank you again. Happy crafting Hugs x ChrisB

My thoughts are with you Christine, a close friend of mine has just made it through the chemo and radiotherapy treatment you are going to face, had her mastectomy only about 3 weeks ago, and she was telling me about chasing around a 5 week old puppy and cleaning her pond out yesterday, which shows how well she is recovering. I have no doubt you can get through this too,

You're not going at this cancer half-hearted are you, that's a lot to deal with! Hope you'll laugh at my flippancy, Chris this is a heck of a diagnosis and not the one you'd have been hoping for. Good luck with your op and your treatment, you will be in my thoughts and I will be thinking POSITIVE for you.

Hi Chris, I'm back from my break now and made you one of my first stops hoping that somehow the news would not be quite so hard inspite of what you had said. However, you now know what you are up against and can get ready to kick that b....... disease into touch. I shall be thinking of you all the way and watching for news. Think positive Buddy, you'll beat it!
