Inky again

Hi Friday again , boy these weeks are turning around fast. I have had alovely two days playing around with my distress inks. Decided it was about time I made a few Mens cards. Spent abit of yesterday making my backgrounds then finished them off today with the images.
For my first card I used Crafty Individuals crackle stamp and spodge stamp by Inkylicous and Papapermania Vintage car. The second card used the spodge stamps, chicken wire stamp, and a script stamp all by Inkylicous. The image was another crafty Individuals stamp. The small dots were made through a piece of plastic that I had used a hole punch on.   Really enjoyed myself making these. Will have to put my thinking cap on as I want to make some more mens card.

Treat for two

Decided this morning that after I'd done all my washing I would have another play afternoon.
I got my H2o out and played about with 4 pieces of cards and some rock salt.  They are now sat on my dining room table waiting for me to have some inspiration as what to stamp on them. While they were drying I decided to make a new shaped card and add some glitter. The first that I saw was green, unused for ages so went with that. Found an image I had stamped ages ago and coloured to go with the green glitter. I used an embossing board, glitter, promarkers and coloured some gems to match. I was quite pleased with how it's turned out.

I have had a cough for the last week and have been coughing bad all day. Just hope I can shake it off my my last treatment next week. Off to watch a bit of tv now. Hugs to you all xChrisB

Ooops what happened while I was missing.

Ooops what happened to blogger while I was away. Don't know what's
 going to happen when I try to pospost my pictures.
Hope you've all had a good weekend. I managed to do some crafting yesterday and again today, so that was good. The bad thing was that our Polish neighbours decided to throw another party next door. Loud music and everyone talking as if they were shouting to the bottom of the street. Both my husband and myself not happy. Dave banged on there door about 4 times and totally ignored. They finally shut up at 4.30 in the morning. Next time we will just ring the police, we are definately getting fed up . This is the second lot of Polish living next to us in 2 years and they are all as bad and don't consider anyone else.

   My moan over I have managed to make 3 cards so hope you like them.

Birdsong

The days have flown again, son been on holiday again and couldn't get to my computer. Plus my gorgeous little treasure was here all weekend again. She's counting down my medicine and wanted to know if it was strawberry like hers said no, but wished it was. Never mind Nanna she said you've only one more. She's  a sunny bundle of love, can't believe it she will be starting school in September. Time really does fly

For my card this week I used Alcohol inks and distress inks . The stamps are another of my favourites by Chocolate Barque,I inked and embossed the edge with Wow gold embossing powder. Added a few pearls to finish, I've made for a friends birthday. Sorry about the funny picture had to stand it on my bed to get a better  light.

Paper piecing

Hi folks managed to make another card this week. For this I've used one of the first stamps I bought from a set on QVC it was a huge set and I must have had them about 8 years I think. I decided to have a go at paper piecing for this one and added glitter. Made some bunting and added some pearls for bling.
Just spent a lovely half hour looking at everyones blogs, you've all made some fabulous cards. I've had my chemo again today, fingers crossed I won't be too bad this month then I can keep up. Been getting all inky

Hi I have been having a lovely time getting all inky. The first card is a old Magenta stamp that I got about 6 months ago in a sale. I have to say this as sat on the shelf all that time and is the first time it as been inked. I stamped it three times watercoloured all three layers with Distress inks. Decoupaged the layers then added a touch of  glaze. The background was inked, stamped with versamark and gold Mica powder and a ribbon.

My other card was made with a Chocolate barque stamp, I love these butterflies. I stamped and coloured with promarkers then added some spray varnish and decoupaged them I used Adirondack lemonade ink pad to colour the edge of the card. Also the edge of the swirls and the embossed strip of card. I really love the colours on this card. I hope you do too. Wishing you all a great Easter and a lovely time. Hugs x ChrisB

Pictures at last

Wow finally got my pictures done at last, made these cards a couple of weeks ago in bed.  Found the papers while decluttering and thought I'd make a couple of quick cards out of them, they were out of a making cards magazine. The last card was made with a free Molly Bloom stamp and the tree house is a digi stamp.Hope you like them. Haven't done any crafting since still decluttering and sorting. My grandaughter had a good time today playing with all the stickers I had found.
