Hi I have been having a lovely time getting all inky. The first card is a old Magenta stamp that I got about 6 months ago in a sale. I have to say this as sat on the shelf all that time and is the first time it as been inked. I stamped it three times watercoloured all three layers with Distress inks. Decoupaged the layers then added a touch of glaze. The background was inked, stamped with versamark and gold Mica powder and a ribbon.
My other card was made with a Chocolate barque stamp, I love these butterflies. I stamped and coloured with promarkers then added some spray varnish and decoupaged them I used Adirondack lemonade ink pad to colour the edge of the card. Also the edge of the swirls and the embossed strip of card. I really love the colours on this card. I hope you do too. Wishing you all a great Easter and a lovely time. Hugs x ChrisB

Two gorgeous cards - love the colours on both of them. The swirl border on the second one is brilliant.

Two super cards - that sale stamp was a lucky find and of course the CB butterflies one is a favourite which can be used in so many ways. Have a good weekend
ReplyDeleteTruly beautiful cards - have a wonderful Easter.
ReplyDeleteHi Chris, I'm so sorry I've not stopped by in an age. We are having some really nasty issues as a family at the moment which have stolen most of my spare time so of course, crafting and blogging has had to be put on a back burner. I was determined to have a catch up with old friends tonight though so here I am.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to read that you have had such problems with your treatment still but at least your last one went better. I truly hope the next ones do too. Having said that I've gone quite a long way back on your blog and you have certainly made some wonderful cards. You have my complete admiration that your creativity is still blossoming inspite of being so poorly. Well done you!!!
Lots of love
