Special Christening card.

Wow! were as this week gone, can't beleive it's nearly weekend again. I've been busy all week working on a Special Christening card for my best friends Granddaughter. She's 28th months old and getting christened next sunday. I wanted to make a card that wasn't too babyish.  I love this little Stamp she is called Mimosa and is by a swedish company. I have made the church window by using a free download from my craft studio. It was Blue so changed the colour . I also had to alter the picture as it had a big spray of lilies on half of the window. I pasted and copied and also flipped the design, I printed it onto vellum then cut the flowers off the pieces and joined them together and covered up the join with my stamping. Added roses and the little metal wired bits and stickles to the flowers and added fabric butterflies and the guipure lace. Also added the little metal cross. I coloured the deisn with promarkers and also the ribbon to match. The punching was a Martha Stewart punch. It's the first card I've made with so much decoration, but I wan't it to be really special.
