Hope your safe and warm

Hi everyone hope your all safe and warm. It's freezing here, have been cold all day, dispite having the heating on for quite some time. I'm glad to say that at the moment we have no snow. But I know that it has forcast more for some people. I feel sorry for you if you are one of them. Don't travel far if you don't have too.
I have spent the last few days sewing away in my craft room and have nearly finished a Princess Cinderella costume. fingers crossed that it fits at Christmas. It's very hard when you can't try it on. Also have finished two dollies outfits. Will post some pictures very soon. Thanks for visiting and Happy crafting. Hugs x Chris

Box easel

Hi today I thought I'd better make a start on my special Christmas cards. I wanted to make something other than just a normal Christmas card, so decided to make a box easel card. I also thought I would make it into a calendar. I've chosen a new stamp by Sheena Douglas. This is my first attempt at using it so I have stamped it with distress ink and dragged it out to colour it. I have left it plain except for adding glitter onto the hills and some rocks. I was going to add snowflakes then changed my mind and added flowers instead.  I didn't want it to look to Christmassy as I want it to be used all year. I am going to add post it notes and pens in the little drawer. I am quite pleased with it as I have not made one of these before.

Natures colours

Hi, what an aweful few days weather wise we have had. I hope you have all been safe in those terrible winds. I have made a card using Natures Colours. Nature is wonderful you only have to look at everything around us in the countryside to cheer us up. All the beautiful colours  of the seasons. I have made this card using a couple of Sam Poole stamps and the resist techneque. I used Kaleidacolor Melon Melody some leaves and flowers from my stash and my cuttlebug. I have made it for a friend on the web.
