This week at Bah Humbug the challenge is to alter a Cd. I decided to make a card for my other half for Christmas. I covered my card with the green spot bp then stuck a piece of torn vellum down the left side. I coloured my cd with Adirondack Butterscotch and Pesto Alcohol inks and pale gold leafing pen. I stamped branches on the top right of my cd with green Stazon . As I thought they would reflect into my shiny Bauble if it was hung onto a tree.
I then stuck a gold glittered Skelton leaf on top and trimmed the left side off. Stuck a piece of my old Christmas decoration in the middle and one at the bottom right. I added gold peel off to look like chains and ribbon to my decorated bauble. Off to tidy up now and hope fully get an early night, I have my beautiful grandaughter to play with all day tomorrow.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and for your lovely comments. They are very much appreciated. Hugs xChrisB

This is very effective - great idea to make a bauble out of the CD.
ReplyDeleteSuper card Chris. I have tried to colour a cd with alcohol inks but must have been doing something wrong as it didn't stay there.lol
ReplyDeleteLove the way you've made it look like a giant bauble.
