Hi just finished my card this week using my golden oldie. My Golden Oldie stamp is the Judikins Winter Botanical cube, this was one of the first christmas stamps I got.
I have used it for the background to my stamped piece. I don't no if this was against the rules but I have combined it with a relative new stamp from Joanne Sheen. It was brought out as a birthday stamp but I wanted to make it into a Christmas stamp. So have put the little mice under the tree branches. I have used Promarkers and Distress Inks to colour the image . I also used distress ink to stamp the branches. I have added stickles for garlands. The cuttlebug for embossing and die cutting. For more interest I have added a Piece of an old Christmas decoration from my tree, that quite a few years old. The Red card at the bottom was from an old Christmas card I saved a couple of years ago. Hope you like it.

Chris this is just brilliant - love how you have combined the stamps to make such a lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteI'll get back to you on how to put a link - it's a bit late and if I try to explain now I'll probably tell you the wrong thing.

Hi Chris, lovely card. I especially like the way you stamped the branches so that they are a part of the main image as well as the background. At this rate you are going to have a fantastic set of cards come Christmas!
