Bah Humbug week 4 Golden oldie.

Hi  just finished my card this week using my golden oldie. My Golden Oldie stamp is the Judikins Winter Botanical cube, this was one of the first christmas stamps I got.
I have used it for the background to my stamped piece. I don't no if this was against the rules but I have combined it with a relative new stamp from Joanne Sheen. It was brought out as a birthday stamp but I wanted to make it into a Christmas stamp. So have put the little mice under the tree branches. I have used Promarkers and Distress Inks to colour the image . I also used distress ink to stamp the branches. I have added stickles for garlands. The cuttlebug for embossing and die cutting. For more interest I have added a Piece of an old Christmas decoration from my tree, that quite a few years old. The Red card at the bottom was from an old Christmas card I saved a couple of years ago. Hope you like it.

  2. Chris this is just brilliant - love how you have combined the stamps to make such a lovely scene.
I'll get back to you on how to put a link - it's a bit late and if I try to explain now I'll probably tell you the wrong thing.

  5. Hi Chris, lovely card. I especially like the way you stamped the branches so that they are a part of the main image as well as the background. At this rate you are going to have a fantastic set of cards come Christmas!
