Bab Humbug-Metalics

Hi, this week over at Bah humbug is Metalics.  I was struggling with this as I had no metal and then I had a brain wave. My OH beer can. I washed it out and then cut it open and covered it with Alcohol inks and ran it through a cuttlebug folder. Stamped my image with Wow gold powder. Cut it out with a spellbinders die mounted it on gold mirror card. I'm quite pleased with it. So will try this again.

    Christine that's an absolutely brilliant tip! As you probably read I've had no luck with metal, I just get cut fingers! You must have been very careful :) The colours on your card are beautiful.

    Grrat idea using the beer can - larger piece than the tomato paste tube idea I had once. Love the embossing and the fab image.
