Hi used some new stamps I got last week to make a card today.
I've made it so I can join in on The Cuttlebug spot challenge.  This week you have to add a feather, I've never  joined in with their challenge before, just found it last night and thought I would try a card.
The stamps I have used are by Kanban, I stamped and embossed the window onto acetate. Also stamped it onto my card then cut the middle out. I then stuck the acetate behind and covered the workings up with another piece of card that I had cut the opening in.  I debossed the front of the white card under the window then also debossed a piece of blue card. Stamped my lady and coloured in with promarkers and Sakura gel pen, added a feather to her hat and gems. I then decoupaed the ruffle on her parasol and the sashes on her dress. Used my cuttlebug again to cut out the sentiment that I had stamped.
Have a good weekend everyone. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi even though it was damp and miserable out I had a lovely day crafting. I made a card this morning at home. I used a new embossing folder I got last week and some Kanban stamps , cosmic shimmer pearl glue, a marianne die and lilac ribbon. First time I have tried doing the dots and very pleased with them.

This afternoon I joined the Craftypatch gang to make two cards using Papermania stamps. It was a sunshiney day as I used yellow all day, definately lifts the spirit on a damp day.
Hope your all having a good week. I'm off to do some knitting now. Knitting legwarmers for Maddi and she told me she wants pockets on them. She's seen them on a childrens advert I think. I'm just making them up as I go along so hope they fit. Will make her a set of cuffs and a scarf afterwards I think then Father Christmas can deliver them. Happy Crafting see you soon. Thanks for visiting  Hugs x ChrisB

I was  good girl yesterday and did what I set out to do, that was to write my christmas card. I have been making them all year so I thought I would write them then I would know if I needed any more. I stamped the verse into them all and wrote the message and addresses also put on all my stamps.
There were just a few special ones to finish off today. I had done most of them  and I luckly had moved them off the table. I had a bottle of pop on the table and thought I would pour myself a drink. What a mistake that was, I slowly turned the lid then whosh!! Myself my table, everything on it and my carpet was covered in diet coke. As you can imagine I was not a happy bunny. I wouldn't mind it had been sat there all morning so it hadn't been shaken.
So folks watch out when you are doing yours. So much for being organised early. Never mind at least I still have loads of time to make a few more or do a rescue job.
Here is a card I made at the end of last week. I used a spellbinder label die and a memory box trellis die, also acetate, promarkers, spellbinders poinsettia die , stickles, martha stewart punch and some pearls. Sizzix swirls large die and sizzix brick plate.
Hopefully going out tomorrow, have a good week. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi yesterday was the day for pals to go to the craft club, Sheilagh was doing Christmas cards. I decided to stop at home and do a project of my own. I had been reading the craft stamper magazine and saw the Advent calender project, I thought it would be lovelyfor my little Maddison.
I got my card and hougie board and sat watching tv measuring all the card out for the boxes.

After that I spent ages glueing them all to gether. Thank goodness for cosmic shimmer glue, it never lets me down. Then I cut all the papers for the drawer fronts and put in the brads. Glued them all together after I had covered the edges of my boards with tissue tape. By which time it was nearly bedtime. This morning I made the easel card for on the top. I'm pleased I made it. But don't think I'll make anymore after realising how long they take. I have left the tissue tape in its natural state, I keep thinking should I colour it or not. What do you think folks. It's now full of little goodies and ready for the end of the month.
Hope you all have had a productive day. Happy crafting. Hugs  x ChrisB

Hi folks what a dark  wet dismal day it's been today. I did a pile of washing this morning , then thought what the heck I'm having a play this afternoon.
I thought I would top up my Christmas card pile with a new set I got about a month ago. I have stamped them then coloured them with pro markers and added some glitter and glitter card.
The other three cards I made last night. they were quick and easy cards . Just a bit of cutting out , embossing and sticking while I was watching the TV.

I forgot to mention I also used the free stamp off the Craft stamper. Off to tidy up the mess I've made down stairs now. See you soon. Hugs x ChrisB

Gosh can hardly believe it's a week since my last post. The time is going too fast at the moment for all I want to do.
Yesterday I was at the hospital again for my check up and mamogram. Just waiting for the result now it's just over a year since I found my cancer. At least the sun was shining and I had a dry day waiting for buses.
Today the weather as been horrible cold, damp and miserable, but I had a nice day crafting.
I made three quick cards with the new embosssing folders from Papermania and there paper and die cut pad. I'm afraid the pics aren't too good alot of reflection.
Th lighthouse card is made with a set of Kanban stamps, the background paper is off Shabby Chic Vintage travel of Debbie Moore. The other is using my favourite die at the moment and a topper from Mulberry wood everyday.
This afternoon, Pat, Joyce and myself went to Sheilagh's class at the Craftypatch Chorley. We had a lovely time getting very inky, we used moulding foam and made out own stamps.
We used a button folder and some used small round sticky pads waste to create them. We made a decorated bag and matching card. Louise kept us going with lots of hot chocolate and  chocolate cake.
I'd had a lovely time and Hubby and made tea ready for when I got in lovely Roasted Butternut squash, sweet poatoes, pepers , onion and garlic served with sauage and a bit of bacon hotpot left over from yesterday. Scrummy!!

I've sat knitting and watching Paradise on TV then come posting my cards. I hope you've all had a good day whatever you've been doing. Happy crafting. Hugs x ChrisB
