Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I went into town on my own as by friend Pat was busy. I had bought a 8x8 Papermania scrapbook in the sale from the Range sometime ago. I wanted some extra pockets for it and to see if I could get some extention posts. I got there and they have totally changed the scrapbooks. There  new scrapbooks were £14.99 with no pockets in, they were selling the 8x8 but not stocking the pockets. How stupid is that, I ended up purchasing some Mirror card and a pack of Gorguss papers as I thought they would be great to use in my scrapbook.
I then headed to Hobbycraft and had a look around there . A Tattered Lace die just found it's way into my basket. Well a girl as to treat herself doesn't she.
I got home about three o'clock and sat for the rest of the day as my feet were absolutely killing me. The doctor as put me on three Pegabalin tablets a day to help them. But he as told me they will never get any better only gradualy go worse., It was my chemo that damaged the nerves in both my hands and feet.

I have made a card using my Carly Duff download I coloured her with promarkers, the bp is from a free cd A year of cardmaking Dvd Serif . I have used two of the Nitwit papers that are on there. The greeeting on the card is from my Tattered Lace die. It cuts 3 Ovals and the greeting as well. I added glitter and gems to the card as well .
I spent three days last week printing photo's off my computer, Helen had finally sent my some pictures from It our holiday in Italy last October. I fell and lost my camera, I was upset as I wanted to have a go at making a scrapbook. I have been cutting some of my photo's out and mats and layers also die cutting some of them as well. I can't stick anything yet as I have sent for some Callall photo glue. Can anyone tell me if it is ok to use in scrapbooks please.
Thanks for visiting hugs x ChrisB

  2. Glad you had a successful trip into town (by successful I mean any trip that involves bringing home craft goodies - whether they were the ones you went for originally or not). The die cut greeting is lovely and the card is gorgeous.

  3. Cute image and very pretty colours on this card. Shame about the scrap book and pages being discontinued. I do wish companies wouldn't do that - so annoying!
