Less is more - slowly, silently now the moon

I have enjoyed myself tonight, joining in the second weeks challenge at Less is more. You had make a one layer card using a flower or a tree. I have used a stamp I bought a bit back but haven't used until tonight. I stamped the trees in London Fog Memento ink, then I masked them and stamped the moon. Added a little glitter, stamped the verse and added cystals to match. I then embossed around the edge. I didn't think I could make cards like this but I think I'm slowly getting into it. Sorry I think I need to practise my photography. Looks much better in real life. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog. I really appreciate it and your comments. Hugs xChris

  10. This style of card is a refreshing change from all the multi-layered and embellished ones but is something I struggle with. I love the way you have done this and my one this week is still 'in my head' at the moment but may emerge later today as it is chucking it down with rain so what better to do than stay in the craft room.

  15. This is lovely Christine. Not as simple as it looks though - it must have taken a lot of effort to get this looking so professional.
