What a day I had to go to the Dentist today to start having my crown mended. I have had to wait since last September to get it done. Couldn't have any treatment because of my chemo. I was in about an hour and half and to go back in September to have my proper one fitted. Got home and it was sunshining so decided to have a potter down to Tescoes for some discs. Took me quite a while to get there and do my shopping. Set of back home hadn't got far when there was thunder and lightning , hailstones and it absolutely sheeted it down. By the time I got home I looked like a drowned rat. My darling hubby opened the door and just smiled and said " it's been raining." as if I hadn't noticed.
Just had to time to get changed and then go and watch Maddison at the baths.
I made two cards yesterday the first one I have to thank Kath for inspiring me on Kath's blog. She makes fabulous cards. I have used Friskers Christmas circle stamps. I got them last year and this is the first time I have played with them. The second card is using papers from Making cards magazine the vintage special and I added a shrink plastic piece to it.
Hoping to get to play again tomorrow. Thanks for your lovely comments on my cards they are all very much appreciated. Hugs x ChrisB

Sorry you got a dowsing today Chris. It bucketed down here a lot of the time too. Lucky for me I didn't need to go out till this evening. Two fab cards. Really like the second one. Can't remember what the fold is called and have never attempted one myself.Looks too complicated for me.

Wow - stunning cards.
ReplyDeleteYou are going from strength to strength aren't you walking to the shops - not fun getting drenched on the way back though.
