Hi yesterday was the day for pals to go to the craft club, Sheilagh was doing Christmas cards. I decided to stop at home and do a project of my own. I had been reading the craft stamper magazine and saw the Advent calender project, I thought it would be lovelyfor my little Maddison.
I got my card and hougie board and sat watching tv measuring all the card out for the boxes.

After that I spent ages glueing them all to gether. Thank goodness for cosmic shimmer glue, it never lets me down. Then I cut all the papers for the drawer fronts and put in the brads. Glued them all together after I had covered the edges of my boards with tissue tape. By which time it was nearly bedtime. This morning I made the easel card for on the top. I'm pleased I made it. But don't think I'll make anymore after realising how long they take. I have left the tissue tape in its natural state, I keep thinking should I colour it or not. What do you think folks. It's now full of little goodies and ready for the end of the month.
Hope you all have had a productive day. Happy crafting. Hugs  x ChrisB

  1. Wow! It's amazing Chris and I know Madison will love it. So much more than the normal advent calender. Wish I had the patience to do something like that. You've made a fantastic job of it.
