Have lots of cards to show you. The first two are Zentagled, this is the first time I have tried this and am hooked.
Sorry about the lobsided photo
The next two cards are a digi stamp I found them in a box I think I coloured them about two years ago. Thought I'd better make them into cards. Do any of you do that? I start something then see something else and go off on another tangent. On the first one I have used some bridal lace from when I was working that would have been thrown in the bin. I was like a magpie I couldn't bare to see and of it being thrown away . One mans rubbish is another mans treasure. For the background I used a mask and inked through and stamped over with a set of very large swirl stamps. They are called build a swirl stamp by Prima marketing.
For the second blue fairy I have cut two die cuts and cut them in half and put them behind to make a larger shape.
The next two cards were made using some papers I have had ages and are trying to use up.
The last card is using Krafty hands new Cd Summer of 59 which is all ladies in sticky out dresses.
Thanks for calling by it's much apprectiated. Hope you have a good crafty week. Hugs x ChrisB
Sounds as if you did have a great week with Madison. Love your cards and good to see some tangling - very relaxing to do isn't it? I love it. You aren't the only one who comes across half finished bits and pieces which can be made into cards - I do it all the time. especially if I get a new CD and print off images.
ReplyDeletePhew! Where did you find the time to make that lot with Maddison there to pay with too. Great selection of cards. Really impressed with your zentangling (is that a word?).

very impressed with the zentangle cards - not something I have the patience to do! Glad you enjoyed your week with Maddison
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of how ladies dressed in the 50's. And they all smelled of "Evening in Paris". Beautiful card and it brings up beautiful memories.
