Looking after the birds

Hello all hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine and that it's not been too hot for you. I went out shopping quite early this morning so as not to get burnt. I was lucky that I ran into a neighbour and she kindly offered me a lift home, which I was rather glad of.
This afternoon I went to visit my best friend and played with her granddaughter, had a lovely time.
I have been making some cards where the birds are being well looked after. They are all the lovely House Mouse who are so adorable. The first card is for Dad as he once had a budgie like this one.
The next two where made just off one printed sheet. I have used my Spellbinders and Marianne dies and a bit of glitter.

I am making all my Christmas cards flat this year so hopefully it won't cost me an absolute fortune.
Have fun crafting, thanks for visiting. Hugs x ChrisB

  3. Once again you put me to shame Chris! I haven't given Christmas a single thought ....... till now! I can see I'll be doing the same as last year and leaving it till I've run out of time. Your cards are lovely and although I don't have any House Mouse stamps or cds I do love those images. They always bring a smile!

Sorry I've not popped by in an age. Things are still up in the air around here and at the moment I have two lodgers (Jamie and Alexa) lol! Jamie's house is on the market and his partner has moved into their new place in Buxton and when the school term finishes Jamie and Alexa will join her so that's only another 1.5 weeks. The house is going to be very quiet again when they have gone but I'm having to give Mum more attention as her dementia is getting worse but also she's getting rather frail on her legs and had a fall last Tuesday. Ended up spending nearly 2 days at the hospital with her.

I hope you are keeping well now.

    Hugs
