It's a play day

It's a play day everyone. Played all morning at doll's and nurses with Maddison and had a lovely morning. Unfortunately she goes home at lunch time on a Sunday and we won't see her again until Friday. It's a shame she never wants to go home to her Mum on Sundays. It's not very nice when Lee is practically dragging her out the door.
I decided that I would play all afternoon with my stamps and inks. I thought I would cheer myself up as it is so cold here. I hope you are all keeping warm. I thought it was about time I had a go at making a mans card for a change.
I have used Tumbled Glass and Frayed Burlap distress inks. My postcard embossing folder, Papermania cog stamps some of the stamps that were free on the Creative Magazine. The main image is Sam Poole's air ship from a set of stamps. The cogs were cut with the Papermania dies that are new out. I have also used chicken wire stamp.
I was quite pleased with it , then I showed my OH and he didn't like the colour of embossing powder that I had used. What do you think folks?
I nearly forgot to tell you I was lucky enough this week to win a £10 voucher for the Ribbon Girl thanks to Kath and Buddy's Blog. I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
I appreciate your comments very much. Thanks alot for visiting. Hugs x ChrisB

  3. I think the ep is just right Chris. Love all your stamping and inking and although I've cog some cog dies I think your ones are better - love the one with the curvy inner bits especially.
