Pens and ink

Hi everyone hope you had a great weekend. It was Maddisons  5th Birthday party yesterday , the poor little love work up not feeling well and had a slight temperature. She had some calpol and brought that back up. She was really quiet all morning . Her mum came for her and we thought she might cancel the party, but it went ahead in the afternoon. Maddi had picked up a little and managed to play on the slides abit as long as her Dad went on with her. She didn't want any party food and after when the others went to play she just wanted to sit on her dad's knee. Her mum took her home, Maddison always goes back to her mums on Sunday afternoon. We've just found out she ended up at the hospital last night as her temperature went sky high. But she spoke to her Daddy and she said she felt abit better. Her Birthday is Thursday, we said that we would have her around for tea then. So I hope she is much better by then, fingers crossed.

I have been busy with pens and ink making three cards. I have used promarkers , embossing folders and dies. Hope you like them. Hopefully will get time to play again soon. Happy crafting . Thanks for dropping by, it's much appreciated. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi folks, I keep wondering what next. Last two weeks I was having trouble with my computer security. This week my phone isn't working. I have been off since Tuesday night, I have reported it too Sky and they checked and said it was a fault on BT.  I rang them yesterday from my mobile , that cost me a fortune. They said they would ring me back today between 2 and 3 pm Needless to say that didn't happen. I can't afford to keep ringing them. I am just hoping that some BT man is working away to get me reconnected. If I'm not back on by weekend I am going to be hopping mad.

 I have been busy this week making some cards. It's Maddisons Birthday next week. she'll be 5years old. I decided to make her a Princess card. I have used a Kanban card that I have ages for the background. I then made a carriage from a Anna Marie template and stuck some net in the windows. I also stuck beading around the door and across the top of the carriage. I stamped my new stamp up from Crafters Companion, I think she is adorable. I coloured her with promarkers. I have added a swirl to finish off the top of the carriage and added gems. also flowers that I made to the wheels.

This next card I used an inklined  image coloured it with promarkers then cut it all out before putting a shadow around it. I embossed the strip across the middle  then added pearls, gems and candy to finish.

This next two cards I have been using some stamps I have had a few years. One was with a Sugar Nellie image and the other a Adorables by Jayne Nesterenko. The first was coloured with coloured pencils and the second with promarkers. I have used varies Marianne and Spellbinders dies to frame the images.

Hope  you are all having a good week. I'm going to be busy tomorrow baking. I promised Maddi that I would make her some cake pops covered with chocolate and hundreds and thousands. She's having a Birthday party on Sunday and I said I would take them to the party with me for all her friends. She is

supposed to be decorating them with me on Saturday. So that means the kitchen and both of us will be covered in chocolate and sprinkles. Hopefully will remember to take some pics to show you. Have a great weekend. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi folks , just got time for a quick post before I have to go to a funeral. I have just made a quickish card from a image I coloured ages ago. Have used my Marianne dies that I just love. and used a punch for the flowers.

The next card I made yesterday using a couple of new dies I picked up last week with my friend Pat. It is using part of a Crafters Companion set of card toppers that I got with some stamps last year.

A hoot of a time.

After reading my craft stamper I decided to have a go at doing a card shape I had seen on page 78. It is a triple little card. It uses your spellbinders for making a shaped triple card, couldn't believe how easy it was. Why had I not thought of doing shaped cards like that. Good job there are lots of clever folks about to inspire folks like me.

I coloured my card with two colours of pigment ink. Then cut the shaped sections and the frames with my dies. Decided to use my little owl stamps again that were off the front of a magazine. I love these they are by Woodware and are a proper set of stamps much better quality than you usually get free on most of the magazines. I stamped the branches and coloured them with promarkers and paper pieced the owls. stamped onto paper for all the tiny flowers. I also really like the sentiments, I think they are having a hoot of time in my tree.
I had a lovely time with my Grandaughter at the weekend. She came home from school and said she wanted to make a Robot out of some garbage. So out came the glue , scissors and old boxes and Yogurt pots tissue and buttons and here is the result, helped by her Nana. She had a lovely time getting full of glue , cutting cogs on my cuttlebug and raiding my stash of buttons.

She had also come home excited because she had got two certificates from school for her reading at the end of term. Here she is proudly showing them off to us.

spoke to soon

Hi spoke to soon got on the computer tonight and had the same problem back again. Have spent the last 3 hours on with Norton again. I'm ready to pull my hair out if it happens again.

I'd better get on to show you what I have been making,  Have made some cards with some stamping and some quick cards using some of my kits. I have also stamped the sentiment on the kit one with the clock on.
I have missed you all I am off for a quick look at what I have been missing. Hopefully will see you soon, but I won't hold my breath have a great weekend. Hugs x ChrisB

Hi thought I would never get back on here, have a had loads of problem with my internet security . Every time I came on  I had messages coming up and my antivirus setting were turning themselves off. I thought I had a virus. Spent  from 10pm last night until 2am with someone going through my computer and unloading and reloading my security. But couldn't fix it. I was supposed to get a phone call tonight at 10pm but didn't so went on remote again with someone going through my system. It definately wasn't a virus and I am pleased to say that Norton have fixed the situation. I bet keep my fingers crossed  every thing seems ok at the moment. Will be back soon with my crafting makes.
