I've had a lovely day today, Hubby had managed to get a couple of trays of Viola for 25p at Tescoes reduced. It was nice so decided to put new compost in my window box and plant them. I'd also bought some bulbs from the Pound shop last week so also did a couple of tubs with them.  Last year we put small pebbles down over our small garden and put tubs on. I also had a few shells so put those around my tubs also two glass bouys and a wooden Sandpiper bird. Maddison went to the seaside on Saturday and bought me a lovely bag of Pebbles, crab shells and shells back. She picked the dark pebbles with the white stripes in as she said they were Lightning rocks. I stacked her pebbles up on top of each other  and tonight she scattered her shells around the garden. The bird is having a make over, it's just had it's first coat of Modge podge and then I can paint it with Acyrlic paints.
I have just made a card. I have to admit having been watching C&C and pinched an idea for my card. I have had a bird and bird cage die for about a year and never used them, so I dug them out and got cutting. Here is the result a glittered cage and a black and white card. Hope you like it folks. Thanks for dropping by. Crafty love and hugs x ChrisB

  1. This has worked so well in black and white - I caught part of that show too and remembered I have similar dies so didn't need to buy any new ones, tempting though they were!! Your garden sounds lovely.

  2. Sounds like you've had a good go in the garden Chris. I seem to be doing nothing but painting my new fence panels at the moment. 14 of them with both sides to do. At last there's only two left - then I can get on with some real gardening. Love you card - and I would love a bird cage die too - but it's another thing on my long wish list.
