Yipee!! I don't believe it

Yipee!! I don't believe it  we've actually had two lovely sunny days together. I thought I'd better make the most of it as it's suppossed to rain again to morrow. Yesterday I did 3 washer fulls of washing and while that was drying I managed to fill my hanging baskets and my plant pots . I had to sit down quite alot of the time but I managed to do them all. I also planted up my Granddaughters Ladybird Wellingtons that she grew out of a couple of years ago. They are only small but they look quite  cute on my pebbles amongst all my shells. I just have to finish repainting  my  wooden Sandpiper and then he can go back amongst my shells.
I have also spent today washing everything else in site , they are all dry unfortunately waiting to be ironed. Thats an aweful word if every there was one, think I'll have to put my blinkers on around that pile.
I have a couple of cards to show you they have both been made with only things that have been recycled from my post this week. The first one the turquise card back was some packaging that came free with the lovely embossing folder. The topper was cut from a piece of card that came from  some more junk mail. The flwer was given to me by a friend.  I inked and glittered and added 2 gems also used my spellbinders to cut out the sentiment from some more waste.
The second card was made using an image that came from an envelope that was junk mail. I cut it out and glittered it added a backing paper that was out of my bit box  added a bit of ink,  then stamped a sentiment.
I still have a nice little pile to recycle yet.
Hope you all have managed a lovely day today. Crafty love and hugs x ChrisB

  1. Oh wow. You're good at recycling aren't you. I'm afraid my junk mail goes straight in the recycling bag - without even getting opened. Look what I'm missing. I've been out in the garden today too. Got quite a bit done.
